"Ronnie sporting that look would, in my opinion, be unbeatable."

Quit avoiding the point at hand. Did you not claim that the 03 Coleman would defeat Yates solely on mass alone with no regard to condition, proportion or symmetry?  ::)

Bullshit. You claimed the 03 Coleman would defeat Dorian because he had "20 something pounds of pure mass over Yates"  ::)

And the best he ever saw offstage was Yates. Why are your reading comprehension skills so bad? A 269 Yates would dwarf the 244 Ronnie.

Since when are bodybuilding contests judged in a gym with black socks on? He didn't say shyt about contest yates 93 or 95. So stop clinging to your obsessive 93 gym physique and learn to read the quote in english.

If the sock-footed Yates or the 93O Yates was at the 01ASC, Coleman would lose. Sorry. This was confirmed by a poster around page 1000 who attended both shows.

Merriam-Webster Online Dictionary
show me where it says "to tie." It's possible for someone to be a contender yet still lose. ;)

I never said contender means to tie. Contender means that his physique could possibly defeat Ronnie's physique 2001 ASC, and that Ronnie's 2001 ASC physique could possibly defeat Dorian's in those black-and-whites. It could go both ways. Contender means to be a challenger. Contend = compete. So don't say that Ronnie's phsyque at the 2001 ASC was unbeatable according to McGough because he said that Dorian's in those black-and-whites could defeat him. ;)

I've always maintained that 03 Ronnie's combination of mass, conditioning, and symmetry would overwhelm Dorian. The only comment I made that remotely resembles what you said is when I claimed the difference in size >>> the difference in conditioning.

You're entitled to your opinion, but it's wrong. The 1993 Yates was literally perfect with his given DNA. His mass was unbelievable, 269 pounds shredded to the bone. His symmetry was perfect. His proportions were unbelievable. His condition was definitely better than the 03 Ronnie and likely equal to the 01ASC Ronnie. 03 Coleman had more mass, but that is directly attributable to his use of insulin. But it was also that use of insulin that gave him the watery, softer look compared to Yates who didnt use inslin.

He was cut, full, trim in the waist and a monster (proving that when you're supersharp, you look superbig) at 244 pounds.

So true!
Arnold @ probably around 230 pds. plus taller than both Yates and Coleman.
From Pumping Iron... There is something about the quality of his physique that is timeless.

it can't be a coincidence that all the Dorian nuthuggers have reading comprehension problems. It just can't be. Peter McGough lists both Dorian and Ronnie as contenders for best ever and then goes on to say...

"Ronnie sporting that look would, in my opinion, be unbeatable."

Notice he doesn't say "Dorian would be unbeatable" or "both would be unbeatable." He specifically refers to Ronnie Coleman to remove any doubt.

Stop clinging to this bullshit argument that, since he wasn't onstage, his physique in those pics was not in the running. McGough especifically said that Dorian could step onstage wearing those socks, with non tan and oil and he would win. Feeling stupid already? ;)

Meltdown. McGough said Ronnie 2001 ASC would be unbeatable vis-a-vis the physiques he saw onstage. He especifically mentioned Dorian's physique on the Kevin Horton pic as a contender for best ever. ;)

Arnold's arms are insane in this shot  :o

Supposedly his arms were measured at 20" by Arthur Jones? If so, I don't believe anyone has had much bigger arms than Arnold. I mean just look at the size of them in relation to his body and his head.

Peter McGough - Flex, August 2005

"Ronnie sporting that [01 ASC] look would, in my opinion, be unbeatable."

Shawn Perine - Flex, July 2007 p. 207

"After all, he's still, even at 43 yrs old, eight-time Mr. O Ronnie freakin' Coleman. Which is to say, arguably the best bodybuilder who has ever lived."

Greg Merritt - Flex, July 2007 p. 212

"Coleman is only two years older than the new Mr. O (hypothetical article saying if Toney Freeman won), but time stops for no man, including the greatest bodybuilder who ever lived."

Jim Stoppani - Flex, July 2005

"Has anyone ever displayed a more muscular, more shredded, higher-quality physique than a 247-pound Ronnie Coleman at the 2001 Arnold Schwarzenegger Classic?"

TEAM MD

Steve Blechman - MD, Febrary 2004

"Ronnie perseveres and proves continually that, at his best, he is unbeatable."

Flex Wheeler - MD, February 2004

"I'll go on record as saying Ronnie is truly the biggest, hardest, most shredded Mr. Olympia in history. No disrespect to anybody at all, but I'd to identify Ronnie Coleman as the greatest Mr. Olympia of all time."

Paul Dillet - MD, February 2004

"Understand that if Ronnie walked away tomorrow, I do not think anyone can measure up to the standards he has set. Just like Sergio Oliva, an awesome bodybuilder way ahead of his time, and like Flex Wheeler, who had an absolutely perfect, beautiful physique. No one will match Serigo or Flex and now Ronnie."

IFBB BODYBUILDERS

Jean Pierre Fux - Personal Website

"The current Mr. Olympia (Ronnie Coleman). In top shape, probably the best physique that ever stepped on stage."

Shawn Ray – 2003 Year in Review (Hosted on Bodybuilding.com)

"Ridiculous" Ronnie Coleman would win his 6th Sandow Trophy in a row looking absolutely ridiculous! This guy was from another planet! Ronnie added about a million pounds of muscle from the previous year and squashed the competition on sheer MASS! Unbelievable is what Ronnie was this night!"

Mike Matarazzo – Flex, January 1999

“I think this creature from another planet, Ronnie Coleman, is going to be number one for a while. I think that, in the shape he was in, he would have beaten Dorian Yates. Ronnie has every single attribute it takes to be the greatest bodybuilder who ever lived.”

Branch Warren – Flex, October 2006

“I have a lot of respect for Ronnie. He’s probably the greatest bodybuilder there’s ever been”

You do realize you just completely owned yourself? I specifically questioned you about the 03 Coleman and you post quotes not even referring that that form  ::)

Of course with the exception of one

This right here proves my point that the 03 Coleman only won because of his mass with no regard to his condition, proportion or symmetry compared to his 1998 form. This conclusively proves that the sock-footed Yates would defeat Coleman  ;)

yes but he made the second comment about ronnie AFTER this comment. your smarter then this, its not even an argument.

if i say ronnie is the best now, but in twenty years someone is better and i say he is the best of all time, it makes my previous statement null. nothing to earth shattering there.

This quote from Dillet is utterly stupid (not surprising given the source though). How is it that no one could "match" Sergio or Flex when they were both defeated by superior BBs? Or is this just a case of racism as I suspect. Also, Coleman was defeated in 2001 by Cutler, 2002 by Gunther, and 2002 Olympia by Levrone when Coleman was booed off stage. He was also defeated in 06 and 07 by one of the worst BBs of our time, Gutler.
