ND, this is the only thing about you that I don't like. You talk about that black and white front lat spread from Ronnie that ownz Dorian anyday of the week. You claim it was in controlled lighting conditions with a professional photographer....wah wah wah! Whatever dude, the Black and White photos of Dorian before the 1993 Mr Olympia were in controlled lighting with a professional photographer. Then it is alright. 
You are as rabid about Dorian and have your head up his ass as much as Hulkster does against Ronnie. Even your post where you state you rooted for Flex in 1993, but weren't sure if he deserved it, reeks of Dorian fanboyism. If you think Flex has a better physique, than he deserves it; judges be damned in your mind's eye. You are as much of a fanboy as Hulkster. BTW, Ronnie owns Dorian from the side chest shot. It is not even close. I am sure Hulkster has a competition photo on his harddrive. Dorian won side triceps but that is all. Ronnie kills him from the front in all mandatories including front lat spread. Dorian was exceptional one year (1993) and great another (1995); the rest of his wns were suspect at best.
Hulkster is notorious for using professional studio pictures to " prove " his point about Ronnie being better , I remember he used a studio pic of Ronnie doing a most muscular and one of a 242lb Dorian that some scaned from a magazine and didn't do a good job with to say look Ronnie crushes him lol anyway No way no how does Ronnie look better in the front latspread that is one pose Yates owns without equal !! and Yates has a much better ab-thigh shot and from the side it isn't even close , Yates' marquee shot is the sidetri , and Ronnie himself said Yates has the best side chest shot he seen , and when Ronnie does the pose he doesn't do it effectively and his front & side delts are so huge they obscure his chest making it look small , I've said before Lee Haney and Levrone had awesome sidechest shots , Ronnie doesn't
And as far as me being as rabid about Dorian as Hulkster is for Ronnie , pure nonsense , I can look objectively at Dorian and Hulkster can't , I said that Dorian should have lost in 1997 , Hulkster doesn't think Ronnie came even close to losing in 2001 , 2002 and he subscribes to the Oliver Stone theory that the only reason Ronnie lost the Show of Strenght is so they can sell more tickest to the Mr Olympia
and as far as routing for Flex in 1993 I was extremly impressed with Flex when he debuted I count his 93 ASC appearence along with 1983 Samir as bodybuilding perfection , but at the Olympia Flex was off period , the victim of doing to many shows that year , in the general consensus was Shawn Ray should have placed 2nd in 1993 because he peaked perfectly and Flex didn't , I still maintain a 93 ASC Flex would outright beat ANY version of Dorian Yates , if Dorian would have beat a 93 ASC Flex I would still be bitching about to this day
I remember when the magazines first started comming out with coverage from the 1993 Mr Olympia , after seeing the pics I remember asking my brother , how can he win with a gut like that ? I was and still am a huge Lee Haney fan , and he had a 31" waist so seeing Dorian with that wide waist and slight distension I didn't get it , and that was just a preveiw of things to come !! anyway Flex was off , and he lost to Dorian , and
I did NOT complain when Ronnie beat Flex either why? because Flex was off , 1998 was very exciting because Flex was going to fullfill his destiny by becoming Mr Olympia , it didn't turn out that way and I didn't bitch about it
Yates looked great in 91/92/93/95/96 , 1994 he was off especially from 1993 but he was still good enough to win , and in 1997 he should have lost , I seen the pics of his gut and torn tricep and I'm like I'm sorry but its over , obviously the judges thought otherwise and his back bailed him out in 97 if Nasser had a back like that he would have won in 96/97 but thats how the cookie crumbled
