Only nerds are fascinated by trivia involving bodyweight comparisons.

Did anyone complain in the 70s when Schwarzenegger beat Columbu with a huge bodyweight advantage?

Irrelevant. I smell GED with these two.. :D

HA HA HA HA HA!!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D Girl, if attention to detail and knowledge of trivia were signs of nerdiness, you'd be the poster boy for: "Revenge Of The Nerds, Part VI: Nerds Pretend To Be Bodybuilders On Internet Boards". ;D

Now seriously, girl, you should follow my suggestion of taking it of your mouth to breath a little...it starting to make you brain-damaged. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Again he makes a great point , Camp-Coleman love post to pics of a 240lb Dorian to a 300lbs Ronnie and say " look your boy is getting owned " lol great logic  ::)

And suckmymuscle makes another great point at anything above 250lbs Ronnie's phsyique falls apart , show me a pic of a 265lbs Ronnie with a razor sharp midsection , with clearly defined serattus/intercostales/obliques , and above 250lbs his overall condition isn't great , sure his glutes are striated but he still carries water in the rest of his phsyique and his balance & proportion above 250lbs goes to hell , it wasn't fantastic to begin with but it looked better at 250lbs than at anything above that .

And again Camp-Coleman with the myth Dorian never faced anyone bigger than him , Fux was 280lbs , Nasser was 275lbs , Ian Harrison was 280lbs , Lou Ferigno 317lbs , Dillet 275lbs , I don't think Baker was that big , but he was huge , anyway Dorian beat them all .

Hmmm...I don't know, ND. If I'm not mistaken, Baker was 285 lbs for the 96 O and Nasser was 280 lbs. I think Baker did compete at 280+ lbs. ;)

the closest Aaron Baker got to 280 was probably about 180 :D

he was very, very good, but he was never a "mass monster"..

More nerdism; blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. WTF cares except U? ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZz zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Yates once again looking bear-like. Unlike Ron, it wasn't off-season. Whatever his weight,  the arms still look like fins.  ;)

I like your logic , because you don't like his most muscular Ronnie wins lol lets just put it this way , this most muscular lost to Dorian's , so once again moot point !!

thats only because the most muscular was not a recognized mandatory pose back then.

Dorian would have lost every mm pose had it been recognized when he competed.

Probably would have cost him the title in 1994, 1996 and 1997 :)

As the Columbu of the 90s, Yates actually deserved 1-2 Olympias.

Yates was never a B-tier Pro as you say , he was an top-tier Pro from his first contest , he never placed below second in his whole career !! in comparison Ronnie who placed 11th in his first Pro show , and 16th in his first Olympia , thats bottom of the barrel D-teir Pro !!
he never placed below second in his whole career- this really says it all motherfuckers.

If it hasn't occured to you just yet, what it says is that the Olympia's a commercial enterprise. That Lavrone, Wheeler, Dillet, Robinson & Fox have not a single Olympia amongst them while you rhapsodize about Yates' record says alot about your naivete. Yates' margins of victory were usually either slim, non-existent & questionable, as a matter of fact.

Coleman on the other hand, is unchallenged for the most part-it's been close only a couple of times. Something like Oliva in the late 60s.

Sorry to have to embarass you with this, but hey at least you understand now. Yates' good fortune was to be a very very good journeyman at the right time, right place.  ;)

so was the original argument about who out of ronnie or yates had the bigger....ummm....noodle?

takes a big man to admit when he is wrong - takes an ever bigger man to admit he is wrong when damn well know he is 100% right.

In all fairness to Dorian, the more I see shots of ronnie, the more I think he might have had the best shaped delt/arm complex in bodybuilding history.

seriously. Look at the shape of those delts and arms. They look amazing, especially from the front.

How can dorian be expected to compete with that?

Its not his fault he is a tier B Mr. Olympia 8)

No shame in that at all. Alone with Haney atop tier-B, Yates has his way with:

-Dickerson
-Columbu
-Bannout
-Zane

Impressive, dammit.  ;)

Even though this is not a great shot, check out how deeply etched Ronnie's back muscles were at the Arnold Classic:

Oh I see my opinion's are not based in reality? so Sergio isn't real? and I can't have the opinion that Sergio looks better than Ronnie in the most muscular? and if I do its stupid? lol I'll tell you what stupid is , stupid is thinking because my opinion doesn't match the majority it is therefore stupid or invalid , and sure Ronnie has some advantages that Sergio does not but in my opinion I think Sergio looks better , despite being much lighter , here are a few more of his whole body , now if you don't agree that Sergio looks better , okay , but to say its stupid of me to think so , shows who is ignorant  ;)

If thats your opinion, then so be it. I don't have to respect it, or anything. You have some low standards, to think that Oliva can even be compared to Coleman. If you can make an argument of something as insignificant as calves being the winning factor on who is superior, then I can certainly argue that Sergio's quads don't have any cuts what so ever in that MM pic. Besides, your opinions don't count. You have to look at this from a judges perspective. Just because you say Dorian's best would beat Ronnie's best wouldn't make it so, unless you are an influencing factor i.e. a judge. The judging standards have changed significantly, and you are still stuck in the past. You need to adapt to the present, guy. Remember, today's truth is tommorows bullshit. Now you are honestly going to tell me that TODAY, right here, right NOW, if Dorian and Ronnie were to compete at their all time bests, than Yates would win?

You get all excited about Ronnie's most msucular and its impressive but what stikes me odd is his biceps make his delts look small in that pose and Yates has more balance in his shot but anyway Yates a B-Tier Mr Olympia? nope thats reserved for guys like Coleman for losing while a reiging Mr Olympia  ;)
