You get all excited about Ronnie's most msucular and its impressive but what stikes me odd is his biceps make his delts look small in that pose and Yates has more balance in his shot but anyway Yates a B-Tier Mr Olympia? nope thats reserved for guys like Coleman for losing while a reiging Mr Olympia  ;)

Yes yes. Once again with fuzzy logic and bullshit reasoning, you've proven that yates mm is superior to ronnies because ronnies bi's make his delts look small.

One genius I'm not out to ' prove ' anything I'm just stating my opinion , my intent is not to ' prove ' a subjective opinion , but to mearly state it , I've learned years ago I couldn't ' prove ' my opinion when debating Religion so much for that theory .

If it hasn't occured to you just yet, what it says is that the Olympia's a commercial enterprise. That Lavrone, Wheeler, Dillet, Robinson & Fox have not a single Olympia amongst them while you rhapsodize about Yates' record says alot about your naivete. Yates' margins of victory were usually either slim, non-existent & questionable, as a matter of fact.

Coleman on the other hand, is unchallenged for the most part-it's been close only a couple of times. Something like Oliva in the late 60s.

Sorry to have to embarass you with this, but hey at least you understand now. Yates' good fortune was to be a very very good journeyman at the right time, right place.  ;)

YADA YADA YADA! Speaking of nerdism... ::) But you're wrong, Point:most of Yates victories were straight-firsts; Ronnie has had several close calls, including a victory by only three points. And also, he lost o Gunther at a minor show, while being Mr.O.

Yates is simply the greatest Mr.O ever. He's the ONLY one to get perfect scores, from all judges, in all of his Mr.O contess. Ronnie is a good pro, but nothing spectacular, who won the O only because The Yates retired. You'll never be able to face this fact. :'( :-\

More rampant nerdism obsessing on numbers and/or bodyweight.

An out of touch fanatic who believes that mr. tier-B's better than Ron, Arnold AND Sergio..Congrats on completely discrediting yourself.

Yates didn't even deserve to beat this guy-from the pic you'd never guess who actually won.  ::)

Hey, faggo t piece of shit, I didn't mention a single number on my post, except that Dorian's victories were sraight-firsts victories while Ronnie's weren't. But I will continue to humiliate your John, with numbers, facts and pics. And if you don't like it, well, you can go fuck yourself, bitch, 'cause I ain't going anywhere! I can't match you for nerdishness, but I certainly surpass you in witticism and intelligence. I mean, look at all the posts where I demean and humiliate you and your family, yet you don't do anything about it. ;D

Yeah we all know the way it ended up... MR O number 8!!
If there's one who owned himself that's Gustavo, he really sounds like an idiot... and I say that of very few people.

Ronnie getting owned...what a friggin joke.  Not only is Gustavo a grade a arsehole; he is a deluded idiot.  The funny thing ND, Dorian voted for Ronnie.  ;D  Who got owned now dipshit.  Ronnie won convincingly as usual.  The three point victory in 2004 was also a joke.  If you recall, which you always fail to do, the am scores were thrown out at the night show when they did the head to head BS.  Ronnie was crushing everyone, and in no way should Cutler even been within panty sniffing range of the champ.  What is appalling is that Dorian won with straight firsts in 1996/1997.  What a joke.  He may have slipped by in 1996 but he looked like ass in 1997.  He had three phenomenal years (1992, 1993 and 1995).  I have said it before ND and I say it again, Dorian in 1993 may have been somewhat competitive with Coleman, but beyond that it was no contest.

Dorian set the new standard for mass and back detail
- and he did this at a much younger age than Ronnie.

He also defeated Ronnie every time they both competed together.

Eight times or so.

Ronnie only won AFTER Dorian retired.

If he wasn't struck with bad luck, and avoided injuries, who knows how big he would have become.

Ronnie is already showing signs of his age.

He said that he was going to win because he was hungry and worked hard and "it was his time, while Ronnie was going down because of the age"...
You win because you look better not because you work hard (like he's the only one who's hungry and working hard)... ::)

Great post !!

only you would think that..

first of all, of course Ronnie is "already" showing signs of his age! he is 42 for fucks' sakes!!  How many 8 time Mr. Olympias do you know who are 42 years old and still winning?

Dorian would have looked like total shit at a large bodyweight because his structure would not allow him to look good. That horrid taper that he had in the 260 pound range would have been unbelievably bad in the 280's.

Even Ronnie had "taper trouble" at 285+ and he had a GREAT taper when smaller.

So to say dorian would have continued to win if he gained size is wrong.

That post was not "great" it was moronic.

Whoa MmEeLlTtDdOoWwNn  Camp-Coleman has imploded

It is a great post for a number of reasons , first its true lol and second Kevin Horton & Peter McGough both said Dorian could compete at a much higher bodyweight but Yates always wanted to come in with 100% conditioning , not 99% with 10 extra pounds or 98% with 20 extra pounds , fact , Dorian still had a ripped midsection at 270lbs and I mean midsection not just abs , whenever Ronnie competed at more than 245lbs his whole midsection got smooth , look at the B&W pics he was 269lbs and hard as nails and he would go as high as 300lbs offseason , so its very safe to assume given he was injury free he could have competed much heavier and still came in dry as hell .

Look at Dorian's taper at 250+ lbs! :o And what SUPERB conditioning, with extreme dryness and etchy detail. Ronnie only looked this good at the 98 O. And even then, he simply didn't look this hard; no one can match Dorian for density. ;)

A 240+ lbs Dorian standing next to Haney. Look at the chiseled lines, the taper and hardness! :o Both Dorian and Haney could easily defeat Ronnie.

I dare Huckster to show a single pic where Ronnie looks this hard. In the abs-and-thigh pose, like in practically all mandatory poses, Dorian was unbeatable. No detail on his leg? I don't think so... ;)

Look at those intercostals and the dryness with which they are presented! Dorian's back is just out-of-this-wordly! :o
