his name was Lee Haney who was 250lbs at the 1991 Mr Olympia and Dorian was 239lbs and he beat Haney in the muscularity round !! Haney had a fantastic back , amazing taper and detail , so there goes that theory

it was Ronnie himself , in 1996/97 and guess what Ronnie lost !! the only thing he was missing when they faced each other was overall hardness , Ronnie was 250+lbs in 1996/97 his dimensions were already there , he just needed to work on his conditioning , by 1998 he sorted it all out and you think because all the sudden he became dry that is now the thing thats going to push him over the edge? laughable , Yates wrote the book on size & hardness , so theory that he would beat Yates because all the sudden he is dry is flawed like most of your logic , the only advantage that taper would do for Ronnie is standing relaxed and thats it , because it didn't help him eight times before .

look at this Ronnie was 260lbs in 1996 , so to say he wasn't anywhere near his prime is nonsense , the only thing lacking in Ronnie was his conditioning which wasn't bad at all in 96/97 but he wasn't as dry as 98 then again he wasn't as dry in 99 either lol

  Actually, you son of a cun t, Dorian looks much better than Ronnie in that pic(denser, harder, thicker, more etched and detailed). The only thing he has better than Dozer is his slightly better taper. But The Yates still has a tiny midsection. And he shows much more detail on his obliques and abs than Ronnie. All things considered, Dorian takes Ronnie out on the abs-and-thighs pose...as in fact he did, several times.

  Agreed, ND. He compensated for it with his triceps:as I mentioned before, his side ticeps pose was the best ever. And his delts were also phenomenal, with the three heads being pefectly and symmetrically developed.

Even IF you could argue that Dorian was more muscular than Haney, he was not even close in terms of shape, symmetry, and aesthetics!

He wasn't even close in terms of shape , symmetry and aesthetics when compared to Flex either but he beat him , I said that if Yates & Haney met again in 92 and Yates weighed the 242lbs that he did Haney would have beaten him again , in 1993 Dorian would have beat Haney .
