On density, Yates definitely, but that's only one criterion. Along with that excellent density he's immensely flawed, lacks balance and aesthetics.

Yates front lat is not the best and not better than Coleman. However the pose *does* hide the smallish arms, whereas in the MM he's not even close.

Another Hulkster gem , Dorian looks good when standing alone , but not when he stand next to other Pros , he recieved straight firsts in everyone one of his Olympias so not only did he look great standing alone he looked better than everyone he was compared to , even Ronnie eight times !!

The same goes the other way. Ronnie can't match the front lat spread, or the rear lat spread. If it's due to poor posing ability... Doesn't matter.

There are plenty of shots where Yates can't compare, but not the reverse actually.

There's *NO* way to see this and say Yates' back is better. Denser sure, but that's only one aspect; in terms of width & taper as well as the look of the muscles that frame the back like arms, it's Coleman.

Keep in mind this is one of Yates' strong points given the fact that his torso overwhelms the arms, yet Coleman's right there with him at least.

That's not a terribly impressive shot of a beefy Yates..speaking of wide asses and hips..

Whenever ND tries to post size shots notice Yates loses much of the density & cuts in favor of the piano mover look. He's never able to find pics that show Yates in shape with size.

Comparable not quite , he's 240lbs in that pic , you stand that next to a 257lb Dorian and he would look petite and no wher near as wide .

The side tri shot is mainly lateral & medial heads, the two smaller parts of the muscle. Yates has got good cuts there and presses his arm against his side, fooling people into thinking there's more size there than there is. The largest part of the triceps is only evident in overhead shots, where he has nothing.

Thank god you were never a judge given your misunderstandings. They pick up the nuance you don't.

As far as Ron's bis overpowering-they're more more prominent but not overpowering, because his tris are huge, much bigger in size than Yates.

Wrong! It's called TRIceps for a reason! Ronnie never excelled in the side tris shot like The Yates!

Every single pose you can see the calves , and Ronnie's become a liability especially standing to next to some of the best ever !! and Hulkster goes on about how Dorian as no cuts lol look at his calves cut to ribbions couple that with striated glutes and awesome hams , look as his quads show me a damn pic of Ronnie with a satorious muscle anywhere near as cut as this and pronounced , the best Hulkster can offer is a pic where its just barely visable at 247lbs lol try having these cuts at 257lbs and the graininess to match and good luck because Ronnie hasn't match Dorian yet !

He can't match the rear latspread either , not from top tp bottom !! he can't match the ab-thigh , side triceps , side chest , he may come close on the others but he is still lacking , Yates would beat him easily as Lee Preist said !!
