After viewing the 99 video again, I believe that Ronnie 99 may have been the most amazing ever seen onstage. He is unreal. This screenshot is only a fraction of a second frozen in time and it is incredible on its own. Never mind the actual poses..

sounds like you like ronnie a bit too much.

creepy.

neither is having arms, quads, chest and taper that make you look like THIS:

look at that flexed quad! :-\ a HUGE muscle group.. smooth as silk...in his best shape ever no less. Overrated for sure.

you cant even see his taper in shot that.  his arms are in the way.

that pic you posted prooves his chest is fine.  hard, seperated, and straited.

This is PATHETIC....I am not going to kid myself anymore, Coleman destroys Yates. If you cannot see the difference, it just goes to show your bias :-\

HOW the fuck can this be Mr. Olympia? HOW can this win the symmetry round? Do you not cringe when you look at this?  :-\

yes, yates chest actually looks good in that 1993 shot.

Its probably the only shot I have ever seen of his chest that can come anywhere near this level:

of development..

Look at this shot of Yates in 1997. Yes, he was his heaviest at 264lbs (still carrying 23lbs less muscle than Coleman in 2003) but his conditioning was way way off from 93. SOFT, SOFT hams and glutes. Water logged.  :-\

Get fucking real. Dorian won the symmetry round with straight firsts that year. Please tell me, HOW can you be scored as PERFECT when your left bicep is rolled up to his shoulder??? I'll tell you, he was in cahoots with the head IFBB judge...

his back is fuucking huge.

his lower lats come out so far that it detracts from his waist.  too big to have a v shape.

Sucky, thanks for the honest and well thought out reply.  That is the dude I gave props to before.

Thanks! :) Your posts are also some of the best around. You post a lot less than either Hulkster or Pumpster, but your posts are far more concise and to the point than theirs. To be honest with you, I think that you and PraetorFenix are intellectually superior to both Hulkster and Pumpster; if you two posted more, the Dorian side would have a much harder time defending Dorian. ;)

No hard feelings man.  I do enjoy your posts, and I guess this thread got under our skins and aspersions and name calling begun (earlier in the thread).

I completely agree! I just turned 27 years old. The other day, I went to pick up my 14 year-old nephew in school, and I was saddened to realize that he was making the same gay jokes and insinuations with his friends that we did throughout this thread. I mean, here's a bunch of grown men acting like a bunch of Junior High pubescent boys. How pathetic!

I also want to apologize for having threatened you before. I wasn't really going after you, as I'm sure you know, and you wouldn't call the Feds for something this stupid. I also wnt to apologize for that time when I dared you to post you medical degree. In fact, from our political debates, it became obvious to me that you were intelligent enough not only to earn a medical degree, but maybe enough to win a doctorate in the hard science. My shock did not come from the fact that you proved me wrong, but rather that you took it seriously enough to actually post it! I obviously pushed the line, and I'm sorry.

As for the rhomboids ontroversy: I don't know. I do have a degree in physiology, but I went through anatomy quickly and forgot it. The thing is that I've read several articles in FLEX, MuscleMag, Ironmen, MD, etc, saying that the rhomboids are visible. So, I assumed that all of them couldn't possibly be wrong. I mean, they are about building muscles, so it's incredible that they don't even know what musles are visible! In fact, even the M.D who writes a column for MuscleMag once remarked that the rhomboids are visible. So, how can you blame a layman fos stating that?

Regardless, have a great day all..Hulkster, Pumpster, Neo, Pobrecito, IceCole, Sucky and ND ( ??? ??? ???...where the hell is ND).  Fun thread guys.  Peace.

Nice to get things straightened out. ;)

Look at you delusional fools. What good is a wide back when your glutes are carrying more fat than Mustafa Mohammed :-\ You can't even see Yates hamstrings he is so water logged.

True, but every flaw counts when you are trying to decide who is the best. Dorian was able to defeat his competition b/c his positives outweighed his flaws. He was bigger and had the best back onstage. Dorian would have no such advantage against a prime Ronnie.

You try to make Coleman's conditioning, from 1998, appear as something special, which it was not. In fact, Ronnie was no dryer or harder than Flex;

sucky, remember what I said about inaccuracies in your posts because you don't use pics enough?

well here you go:

other than the quads, Ronnie was way way harder than Flex in 1998.
