This from the genius who sez that Dillet's delts aren't any good. hahaahahahahahahahah

Your boy dominated in every department-delts, traps, arms, definition, size... same mismatch that would've happened with Coleman..;D

Dillet would have drarfed Coleman too...Coleman never looked like that from the front. Dillet is so freaky there it's unreal. Check Dillet's legs too..Complete from top to bottom. Watch his segment on BFTO 98 @ 290 lbs his legs are unreal, complete, and better than Coleman's ever were. Too bad he would be killed from the back.

Dillet's back really isn't that bad if you see the video-excellent taper; detail is missing in the same way as with Yates' arms & delts.

Coleman's only 1-2" shorter than Dillet in height and obviously is comparable in weight; close enough that the parallel in domination over Yates would've been similar.

I just finished watching Coleman's 2003 Olympia routine on YouTube. All I can say is holy shit. What a bodybuilder. What a routine. What a gut.

Pwned. LOL

Ur a dipshit.  Nobody has presented that degree of muscularity on stage.  ND, I agree that Yate's combo of size and conditioning has not been duplicated.  However, Ronnie in 2003 and even 2005 was bigger and very conditioned.  Dorian would have had a tough time.  However, nobody had his degree of muscular separation in his back in the early 1990's.  That pic of him at 229 is insane.

In 98 Dillet would have absolutely dwarfed Ronnie....it's actually a shame he had to pull out of 98 becuase in the BFTO he was unreal. He had striated glutes, hams just like Ronnie's, cuts in his quads (excellent separation btw all 4 muscle groups) just like Ronnie, however he had CALVES to boot! AND he had 30lbs more mass than Ronnie.

Dillet had all the tools to be the greatest ever.

Learn to read. I said that Dillet's biceps and triceps were bigger than Dorian's, but that his front deltoid heads overpowered the other two. This is clearly evident in the side triceps comparison, where the three deltoid heads are visible. This, together with his less striated lateral triceps head, explains why Dillet was never able to defeat Dorian in the side triceps mandatory. I dare you to post a shot of Dillet with a side tris as good as this. But then, even Ronnie doesen't have a side tris as good as Dorian's, and he also has bigger triceps than Dorian. 8)

SUCKY knows exactly what was said in a different thread, he's been backpeddling with this same revisionist dime-store analysis ever since..hahahahaahahahaha hahah

Dillet's delts only overpower Yates, as does every other aspect other than back detail.  It's embarassing seeing those pics of Yates being dominated yet claimed the "winner". ;D

This next comment has nothing to do with Dorian v. Ronnie, but simply Ronnie alone.

Ronnie in 2003 was simply grotesque to me. His quality was so far superior in 98 and 99 it's not even funny. Better conditioned, drier, aesthetic, no gut (at one point in Ronnie's routine in 03 it looks like he has a beach ball in his stomach), smaller waist, better taper, and on and on.

Why do people prefer quantity so much over quality? :(

Watch for yourself.

Oh I agree , all these guys are so hung up on 287lbs and ripped , he looked like garbage compared to 98/99/01 ASC , that gut is such a pathetic statement on what is considered the best bodybuilding on the planet and in 99 you can see its humble beginings.

I will try to explain. It's not about who I prefer, but which physique I think will win. Bodybuilding contests are decided by comparisons in the mandatory poses. Ronnie in 03 had a distended midsection, but he was able to keep it in check during comparisons. He would either suck in his gut or hide it with his massive arms depending on the pose. I have posted numerous pics of 03 Ronnie with a flat stomach. He also had a level of muscularity that has never been matched. His conditioning wasn't far off from his all-time best. He had feathered lats and shredded glutes at 286 lbs. I've seen pics from the contest and he literally made 2nd place look like an amateur.

Feathered lats? What the fuck is this nonsense? please elaborate on this new gem.  his gut was clearly evident in the mandatory poses and transitions from one to the next and his conditioning was off from 98 but not as bad as 06 .

Laughable as in, not perfect?  Dennis James' gut is worse than Ronnie's there and Dexter's is not much better, and may even be worse too!  Jay's does look excellent though, although he was only 255 there as opposed to 287 for Ronnie.

exactly. Ronnie has a gut, but he blows DJ and Dex off the stage, who also have guts.

Jay's midsection looked good. too bad the rest of him didn't look all that great in 2003.

But neosemen, to me this is what is wrong with BB today....it should be all about QUALITY not quantity. Compared to 99, Ronnie looks soft and watery in comparison. If Ronnie could come in at 287 with the quality of 99 then I'm all for it. But to come in at 287 just for the sake of size to me isn't what Mr. Olympia should be about. To me, Ronnie in 98 was the best (although I haven't seen the 2001AC video yet). His waist was at it's smallest and he was dry as a bone with his back detail at it's all time best. Personally, I would have liked to see Ronnie make small improvements each year while retaining the quality instead of trying to be as big as possible. I do understand though he did what he had to do to win.

Do the judges sit at the corners of the stage? No. Also, Ronnie's midsection looks better than Dexter's in that pic.

its funny how ND goes on about ronnie's 2003 gut, when it was his lover who started the whole trend:

 ::)

dorian, way back in 1993 and at 257 pounds, was the originator of the Mr. O. gut, a trend that continues to this day.

Thanks, Dorian :-\
