He only has better taper than Dorian when standing relaxed from the front. While this would ordinarily give him better overrall symmetry, it does not because Dorian has the  better taper from the sides.

Yates at his best has a ' realitively ' small waist and a good taper , if he didn't he would look like Jay Cutler or Gunther in the ab-thigh pose and you look at those above pics Yates' taper is damn good in those shots !!

Now Jay Cutler on the other hand has a very wide waist...just look at his ab/thigh....now he has a true "H-taper" that pumpster loves so dearly. And on another matter, we shall only refer to Dorian and Ronnie at their bests....for every time you say Dorian had a wide waist in 1997, Ronnie's was just as bad in 2006...

Can you see the difference? Also, look at the detail, and how sucked to the bone Dorian's midsection is. No obliques or loose skin hanging over like Ronnie had in 2003.

See this post shows you like the rest of the Ronnie nitt-huugers are fond of blanket statements and just plain absurdity , Dorian has muscle density over Ronnie in those pics , Balance development and better conditioning , Dorian's LEGS Don't look like shit compared to Ronnies , Dorian's LEGS have a much superior balance than Ronnie's , Dorian's abdominals are better than Ronnie's and his entire midsection is much sharper and clearly defined , Dorian's arms don't even look small in those pictures , Dorian is the clear cut winner in this pose.
