if you took the time to watch the video you would know that dorian had a massive gut when not sucking it in or flexing in 1993.

this was no different than ronnie in 99.

your bias is astounding.

I did.
Im not biased.
Dorian was not convex; he had a wide waist.
Regardless, it never showed while posing.
You have 1; repeat, 1 shot where obliques are spilling over, and it's because he's not tensing.
Next please?

Ronnie has a shorter torso so his gut sticks out further this is a proven fact , its not bias its obvious.

Huckster how do you explain that reverse taper? Someone post a pic of Dorian performing an ab/thigh post. hahahaha Coleman's stomach protrudes beyond his chest making him look flat in any fron double bicep or ab thigh pose Absolute shit! And he's always retaining water under his skin on top of that.

Coleman the water buffalo with reverse taper!!!!!

All rejoice at your champion.

Unbelievable!!!!

Dorian is every bit as massive as Ronnie, yet he still performs an ab/thigh as if he's Dexter Jackson or something. Amazing!!!!! Ronnie can't touch that shotg.

Ronnie Coleman is a water buffalo with reverse taper.

Ronnie simply never reached Dorians combo of Dryness/conditioning, muscularity and proportion. Which are the entire judging criteria.
It's no wonder they credited Dorian as one of the smartest BB's, he knew the criteria, shaped himself to match it, and dominated a highly impressive field.

Exactly and the best part is even at his lightest he;s still meet the criteria better than his contemporaries , and thats exactly why he never placed below second place in a Pro show in his career .

Ronnie never had cheekbones like this (very indicative of extreme condition)

He knew what he had to do to win.
Just look at his loss to Momo.
He took Momo's advice on what he was lacking, worked his ass off, and blew Momo offstage next time they met.

Even his loses were close , mid you Yates entered that show with ZERO press from the magazines and NO hype what so ever , and he still finished a close second in his very first pro show , speaks volumes of how great he was and mind you he was just 228 pounds , the judges said that be basically lost to Momo due to his thicker back and Yates went back to the drawing board and created the best back ever ! his loss to Haney again at his first Olympia , he wasn't favored as a runner-up all the pre-contest hype was on Taylor and Ray , Yates didn't beat Haney but still managed to beat him in the muscularity round despite weighing 239 pounds to Haney's all-time best of 250 pounds , he still made inroads despite NOT being anywhere near his best .

Yes.
The people who don't understand or don't agree with Dorian are going on the fact that they personally disagree with the criteria established for judging. That's fine; but it's merely an opinion.

I agree and besides diagreeing with the criteria , they flat out ignore it and NONE of these guys knew the criteria until I posted and then they went crazy interpreting it , Ronnie has better balance & proportion , give me a break  ::)

see they base their opinions on their preferences , they use assumed advantages that they think would tip the scales in Ronnie favor , like taper & bigger parts its all a matter of semantics Ronnie had all of those before the main reason why he was never competitive with Yates was two reasons size & conditioning , and at his very best , he's still down in size ( 1998/2001 ) and conditioning may be a push , however density & balance isn't three aeras Dorian clearly has the advantage

From 93 O'. looks like his gut is hanging while posing. yates and Coleman both had a gut.

Now you are just trying to justify the fact that Coleman has a massive gut, which is far far worse than any Yates had before 96. Also notice, the only fucking pictures you can find a miniscule gut on yates is when he is not facing the judges.....therefore, nobody sees it. Coleman on the other hand puts it out on display for everyone to see ::) Advantage Yates ;)

Great pics of the 1999 Coleman. According to Sperm, the 1995 Dorian had a bigger gut than that. ::) Also, I don't understand why Hulkster keeps posting that crab shot of Ronnie: his pecs are not as thick as Dorian's, his delts are smaller and his gut is clearly visible. ??? The only thing that Coleman has on Dorian are striations and slightly better delineation of the biceps, brachialis, triceps and the deltoids. Even striations are a push, because Dorian is incredible striated in his pectoralis.

they did, but the difference is that dorian's midsection was on par with shawn ray, kevin, flex, etc. , while coleman is on par with greg kovacs.

It wasn't on par while he was not flexing. You mentioned Kovacs? Looks familiar, lol.
