4th shot down is from a GP after the 94 olympia that dorian always gets ragged on for.  He just screwed up his prep a little and it caused stomach destention, there was no GH gut at that point.  GH didn't come into vogue until nasser and fux blew up circa 95-96ish so unless Dorian was way ahead of the curve it wasn't a gH gut and he didn't cause the whole GH explotion, you can thank Nasser and Fux for that.

I think that was more or less his natural structure, he had to eat a ton of food and if he didn't get everything right he looked like jabba the hut.  Who knows maybe I'm wrong but we didnt' see this extreme weight gain by pro's until Nasser did it at the 95 NOC and then Fux was the first guy I remember having a gut circa 96 ASC.  I remember nobody really knew what the gut was back then, everyone was like he's so big but he doesn't have his condition down and he needs to control that gut..now it's an everyday occourance.

but I don't think they had it perfected at that point, I think they were still getting it from cadavers and it didn't really give you the results it would later....who knows, I have nothing to back it up, it's only an opinion.

Hulkster thats not ironic because the Yates' pics are NOT studio shots they're gym shots and according to the photographer they're ' technically terrible ' and he's untanned , no oil and no professional lighting and the pics are still outstanding to this day ! compare to Dorian's pics , Ronnie is right after winning the Olympia , tanned , posing oil and professional lighting and studio shot , so there is NO irony in your post just ignorance , consider yourself schooled

look at the lighting, the perfectly shadowed contrast in those shots.

they may look simple at first, but they are anything but horrible and simple.

a lot of work went into the lighting and angles for those shots.
