it doesn't matter if he won 20343 contests leading up to the show, the fact is that he was soft on olympia day against yates.

everyone saw that. its all over the reviews and in the mags for that contest.

but, he did have a lot of hype behind him and sometimes that sways the judges.

maybe that's what lead yates to win in 94.

eventhough he was still the best conditioned guy onstage, along with shawn, but he was just too small.
