  Exactly. Strengh and intensity are antonymous and idiosyncrasic properties. Ronnie was stronger than Dorian on moist exercises, but it does not follow that he would be able to handle the style of training that Dorian engaged in.

  Taking sets to failure puts a much bigger tolll on the body than volume training. Ronnie would use much lighter weights than he did if he pushed sets beyond failure like Dorian did. My opinion is that Dorian and Ronnie were about equal in strengh, but Ronnie did heavier weights with lower intensity while Dorian did lighter weights with greater intensity.
