The funny thing is, eventhough Coleman was 25lbs heavier, his back was actually less thick and smaller than Yates The traps on Yates are massive. Most of the mass Ronnie gained from 99 to 2003 was in the quads and that's about it. Plus, his condition really wasn't near as good as 98.
ha ha ha, what bullshit. First of all, Ronnie was over 30 lbs heavier. He weighed 287 lbs at the 03 Mr. Olympia while Dorian weighed 255 lbs at the 95 Mr. Olympia. Second, Ronnie's back was much bigger than Dorian's. Kevin is holding his own with Dorian in the width department, and Ronnie makes Kevin look small. Here's a shot of Kevin standing next to Dorian and Ronnie when both weighed approximately the same (roughly 260 lbs).
Ronnie gained almost 30 lbs more from the 99 British GP to the 03 Mr. Olympia, which means his back would be even larger. It would be no contest. Third, Ronnie has better definition in his glutes and hamstrings. This negates any advantage Dorian may of had in conditioning since the purpose of conditioning is to display better definition.
