I do not know for sure if they were the 1st but these video captures look very similar to mine but not exact.
I am assuming that they came from a video because the DVD version was made years after
the video version.
When they decided to put out a DVD version they most likely decided to re-master it.
I think they personally did a poor job because Ronnie looks closer to a malado than the
black man he is.
I received my video from GMV which is known for their high quality and I personally like
my version better than anything else I've seen and the caps from Muscle mecca 2nd best.

Now a comparison between colors of the 99 Grand Prix and my pics..
Both from GMV...
Almost identicle color...

When they mastered for the DVD I imagine they thought
much of the 99 footage was too dark and decided to lighten
it up therefore you end up with Forced Reps lighter pics.
There very few pictures where Ronnie looks as light in color
as Rorced Reps Caps.

Then we address the somewhat Orange blurry Caps used at times..
They are taken from this video. Much video software has
tools to lighten, contrast and recolor videos.
Although not terrible the orange tinted blurry caps of Ronnie
are from this video.

a reddish/orange tint to many of the pictures.
He has been photographed like this many times.

Hopefully common sense will prevail but my experience
leaves me less than hopeful.
Whether MM's, Forced Reps or my caps are used it really
doesn't matter because Ronnie looks just as good overall
in all of them. My whole intention for making more screencaps
was because there were some good caps that were never posted
and some pics that I felt could be caught at better spots in a certain pose.
Last of all, Iceman has a DVD copy of my video and unless I can photoshop
a DVD just ask him if my caps don't look just like the DVD I sent him.
BTW - These next two shots which were from MM long before I ever posted on getbig
were talked of being photoshopped long ago.

When I 1st got my DVD burner I made a few mistakes and photoshopped
4-5 pictures to try to match what I saw on my TV. I came pretty close actually
but admitted to it and have never posted a shopped pic since. Everything out there now
is legit and you can thank GMV for their excellent quality.

from the 1998 Olympia and he never reffered to the 1999 screencaps.
Muscle meccas were the first to be displayed to my knowledge although
I could be wrong. It may have been Forced Reps. Regardless, They both
show the same amount of definition just different colors so the photoshopping
excuse is mute either way.

First, the 2 pics are taken at different frames while the camera was zooming (out/in). Just look at the right side of the pics (pillar), they are different. That's why Ronnie is slightly bigger in one pic.

Second, you chose a blurry, washed out pic to be the original ? LOL
