  Sure, that's why Ronnie dumped Weider for BSN because they offered him more money than Weider could pay, whilst Dorian endorsed Joe's products all throughout his career and only started his own company after he retired. That is why Ronnie bought cars and houses with his winnings, whilst Dorian gave lots of it to charity foundations in India - where they made a statue for Dorian in homage to his philantropic activities. This is why Ronnie has said in interviews that his main reason to keep competing was to make more money despite this meaning being dethroned, whilst Dorian retired undefeated because his legacy was the most important thing for him - how bodybuilding would remember him. Ronnie is far more motivated by the cash. As usual, Hulkster has no clue what he's talking about.

  Ronnie is remembered for dressing up as Moses, as if he were The Almighty's chosen to break the record for Olympia wins, and then being dethroned onstage which hadn't happened to a Standard bearer since 1983.

dorian showed up fat, injured and bloated and they didn't even mark him down when they should have.

the judging was much more in tune with reality and less biased post dorian.

well of course it makes no difference when you are going to give dorian the win no matter what he looked like onstage..

  Ronnie was infinitely worse in 2006 than Dorian was in 1994 and 1997. Whilst Dorian had a torn biceps and a gut in 1997, he was still ripped and dry at 270 lbs and he still was one of the top guys from the front - evidence: his front lat spread was the widest on the show and his abs-and-thighs was incredible for a guy at 270 lbs - and undoubtedly the top guy from the back.

  Ronnie in 2006, conversely, was no better than Jay in: the abs-and-thighs and front lat spread, and he lost from the back on account of having a teared left lat and that his back was small and holding water. The only pose Ronnie won was the front double biceps and even that's debatable. Apples and oranges, Hulkster. When the distance between Ronnie and Jay was not clearly favoring Cutler, like at the 2001 Olympia, the judges gave it to Ronnie. And Jay was better than Ronnie in 2001. The judges only gave it to Cutler when the gap between him and Ronnie was too great to be ignored. The bottom line is that the gap favoring Jay over Ronnie at the 2006 Olympia was much greater than the distance between Dorian and Nasser in 1997.

funny, shawn ray gave an interview once (for M and F if I recall) and he was talking about how by 96-7 they all saw Ronnie coming up through the ranks.
