 I think this is dorians worst pose but other then that I wouldnt say dorians mm sucked, still world class just not as good as his other poses

were just trying to say that ronnies mm is not perfect either, they both have certain strengths over another in the pose, but i'd say ronnie wins it.

his delt area looks way more seperated, where dorians looks big and dense.

Your pics prove exactly what I have been saying all long.  Yes, Ronnie has better shape and separation--especially tie-ins--than Dorian.  However, Dennis James looks as thick as Ronnie there to me.  Dorian looks impressive in the MM there and is standing next to Nasser, one of the biggest & best from the front.  Granted Doz doesn't have Ronnies delt/arm separation, but I can assure you that standing next to each other in their respective primes, Dorian would be more massive, would have equal, probably better conditioning, and presents his physique much better.  Ronnie admittedly has better bicep peaks and delt tie-ins.

It comes down to this imo: in order for Ronnie to match Dorian in size, he has to lose some of his conditioning--edge Dorian.  And, in order for Ronnie to match Dorian in conditioning, he has to lose some of his size--again, edge Dorian.  Dorian had the ability to maintain size, thickness, and fullness while maintaining freaky conditioning.  Of course Ronnie did too, but just not as well as Dorian.  I am not claiming that Dorian would dominate Ronnie, nor that he would win decisively.  Rather, I think he has the slight edge in what would be a close comparison of the two best Mr. Olympias ever.

Hell, how can you even make an objective claim that Dorian had better conditioning without sounding like a complete nut-job trying to convince someone looking at an abstract painting that it's really an elephant?

If I am inventing my own definition of conditioning, then why is Dorian regarded as one of the most conditioned, if not the best conditioned bodybuilders ever?  He was simply able to maintain size while obtaining a level of dryness that few could match.  Even those who prefer Ronnie acknowledge that Dorian was one of the driest, conditioned physiques ever.  Moreover, look at all of the pictures posted above...Dorian has striations to spare (as does Ronnie).  Yes, I must be the only "nut job" that Dorian had excellent conditioning, arguably the best ever.   

I agree that Ronnie had smaller joints, better delt tie-ins, and better bicep peaks (genetic, structural features).  I don't think Ronnie had better balance or symmetry (notwithstanding the torn bicep), nor do I think Ronnie was "fuller" than a 260 + pound Yates (maybe in 03/04, but those years are not at issue here).

I attended the Mr. O from 02-06, and Ronnie was simply incredible in 03.  It was pure dominance.  He definitely killed Guntermania    That picture of he and Gunter is actually much closer than it was in person. (2002 was a different story though...Ronnie was overdieted and flat)

Yes, Dillet looks freaking huge next to Yates in your picture there, but on the same hand, Yates is holding his own vs. Ferrigno other than height (not much he could do to change that).  Not all 300lb bodybuilders look the same.
