I thought Andrea Shaw was untouchable and  would  be collecting wins  until she retires .She has said  her focus is to beat Lenda’s record .She should be doing just Olympia ,but I understand 100k paycheck and nice Mustang will motivates anyone.

David Packer retired Ms.Olympia,but  when Jake Wood purchased it he put them back on.Only other person  that has removed WBB is Arnold. /used to be Ms.International / .

I was really surprised to see this too. I only saw a brief clip of Yeo being announced the winner so I could not tell if Andrea was out of shape or not.

 Andrea brought a slightly more femenine "look" a little bit more like Lenda and a lot less like Iris Kyle, Vicky Gates or Yaxeny Garcia- or whatever the F her name was- the Ms. OLYMPIA winners were getting hideous. So to the extent that Female BB can be marketable at all Andrea was an improvement.

But it's Bodybuilding,  the only way to beat the champ is to come in bigger and more ripped, which will not allow for a more femenine winner. Sooner or later you will necessarily end up with an abomination as your ms. Olympia. It's been the same story since Pumping Iron II. How do you reward femeninity AND muscularity at the same time?


All that being said, I assumed Andrea would get the benefit of the doubt as the current champ. So this show is a secondary show to the Ms. Olympia or is this what they're calling it now? Rising Phoenix?

Andrea does, im pretty sure at one point she referenced a boyfriend, it might've been her trainer/ coach.

I read an interview of hers a year or two ago. IIRC she's pretty conservative,  patriotic, other than being juiced to the gills she's pretty well adjusted.
