I don't believe very strongly either way. Even among the skeptics there's a multitude of theories as to what and why and who. I always wonder when when people, sometimes even experts, stake their reputation on one single theory, like for example with 9/11 some being so sure it was a directed energy weapon, nuclear bombs or entirely fake with holograms as planes.

The attitudes in the MSM, the "authorities," and the multitude of do-gooder citizens were very off putting to me. I was pissed off and didn't wear a mask, almost got physical with a homo on public transport who didn't let me sit beside him lol, when I asked him to move his bag from the seat he angrily hissed, "distance!" lol.

I'm sure psychologists are studying the public and official response to the "threat," but I'm not surprised how it played out. Some here and elsewhere have said this was just an experiment to see how people take orders and fall in line. At the same time it's interesting how in the individualized west we had so many rebels getting angry with the new rules whereas in other societies like asian societies the people were like, "of course we will do exactly as you say." I'm sure the Chinese were and are saying, look at those stupid motherfuckers over there thinking they know better, us Chinese stamped out the virus much quicker because we clamped down hard immediately and everyone cooperated." And they did, according to the sources I read. Like I've said before the most interesting thing with the controversy here is how little trust there is towards authorities who half the country believe are actively trying to kill them. Something is clearly wrong, even if excluding covid.
And I'm not saying the distrust isn't warranted. Also Trump is interesting wrt covid, on one hand he wants the praise of getting out the vaccine quickly. Then he sucks up to guys like RFK Jr, recently he supposedly said, "I want only a few shots, not many shots, just a few, when you take many shots people get sick!" Wtf kind of response is that lol, either you believe the "science" and the scientists or you do not and how many is a "few" and how would Trump know the exact amount of shots warranted? He clearly doesn't know shit, just tries to play both sides and guess which one will work out the best for him.

All that happened was they replaced flu deaths with covid and added in deaths from almost all causes and counted them as covid deaths
