Cooper and I got into it during the GOP primary over his support for DeSantis (I was doing some social media consulting for a Trump PAC), and he banned me on all sites. He does not like to be challenged on any of his theories.
I appreciated Desantis for standing against the covid regime. I don't remember Trump coming out against governor lockdowns or (except very weakly) against mandates. He could have nailed Biden to the wall over that, and absolutely should have the whole way through. Imagine being able to point to that now. Whole lot of embittered voters out there.
Sadly, Ron was gung ho for Ukraine. And apparently everyone wants to fund Israel, and probably commit troops when they get in over their head with Iran.
Cooper's substack is my only paid subscription. Doesn't mean he's got everything right. Like I didn't dig his suggestion, made in passing, that US intervention to force peace in the ME could be the only way to have peace over there. He didn't list any benefits to the US from such action, and that's my first question when it comes to wars of choice.
What did you want to debate with him? Ron's militarism?
