Agreed. He needs to tweak his form before he tries 405 lbs.

There's a lot of weird "movement" strength coaches in the NBA especially. They're not going to tell LJ anything, and miss out on being his coach. Usually they give these guys light and odd movements, that help a little, but won't hurt the player. The rest is hoping genetics plus rest fix things.

If you want a long watch on it, here's a couple of decently respected s/c coaches giving their opinion on a long training montage of him -

Those are seriously the gayest looking squats I have ever seen.  Not the worst, but the gayest.  Weird fucking shit the way he's moving.

The weirdest trainers are MMA trainers hands down. I mean they do some stupid stuff. I remember watching a video of Chuck Liddel's training session. The trainer had a clip board and he'd say "Hit the tire with a hammer 10 times" "Now roll the tire over". "Now run in place for 10 seconds". Stupid stuff. But the scariest was Cane Velasquez (spelling). His trainer had him doing 100+ lbs kettlebell swings. Well over 100 lbs. He had so much back issues that it really affected his career. And videos showed him straining while doing them. Obviously came from his training routine.

A majority of these “experts” just mash together various beat-you-to-a-pulp exercises and activities.
