Those are my words Jack, no one else’s.

So then I guess started referring the U.S. as a 'third world shit hole' after he heard you say these words. turn the country into a third-world shithole,

"Donald Trump Jr. demoted the United States to “third-world shithole” status on Thursday after a jury in New York convicted his father Donald Trump."

Donald Trump brands US a ‘third-world hellhole’ run by ‘perverts’ and ‘thugs’ https://www.the-independent.com/news/world/americas/us-politics/donald-trump-2024-florida-speech-b2376408.html Sunday 16 July 2023

Who is Jack?

I feel the same with your posts.. so...

I ask YOU... any cringe moments Trump provided? Or are you going to be as silent as Coach...

I’ll jump in. I watched about 15 minutes. I cringed most of the time. Some because he was spouting off nonsense about Haitians eating cats (although I do believe some of the stories shown of them killing geese and eating them) but mostly because he couldn’t get his point across because he was melting down. I haven’t seen him lack composure like that since the first Biden 2020 debate where Biden told him to shut up because he was rambling. He has some valid points, but once he gets on his heels, he’s flustered and sounds dumb. She had him on the ropes, and a more skilled orator could totally put him down but she didn’t. I supposed she figured she’d let him hang himself, rather than possibly hang herself too.

I also didn’t like the lack of fact checking, but he should’ve called her out for the “bloodbath” “very fine people” remarks as well as saying cops died at the January 6th riot. The only person that died was some fat Trump supporters of heart attacks and that lady who got shot for charging that cop.

I appreciate your response. You have the character to not pretend Trump knocked it out of the ball park like few others have. Thank you

Pretty much everyone in this thread has said Trump didn't knock it out of the park.  Most agreed he lost on performance.

And substance. And policy discussion.  And all around acting like anything other than a deranged uncle you keep locked in the bedroom when company is over.

After the Biden debacle, the left lost any moral high ground when it comes to criticizing someone's mental state.

The fact that he's still in "charge" is insane.

After this debate, the right lost any  moral high ground and excuse for not demanding a cognitive test of their candidate.

Exactly.  Nonstop lying, making up imaginary policy or plans, can't stop crying about rally sizes, nothing but me me me me me, not a single thing did he actively point out for the voters.

Each side's base does the same for their candidates.  Harris' side ignore all her faults, gaffes, flip flops, lies, and everything else Trump's does for him. It's really no different.

So many conservatives were critical of Trump's performance.  Tons viewed it objectively.

It was a missed opportunity from him for sure, but it didn't seem to move the needle much.  Harris went on a softball interview the next day an answered "What specifically would you do to help the economy" and her answer was basically "I grew up middle class where people took good care of their lawns".  It literally was not much more than that.

Weren't we talking about the debate? Friday's interview gave her the opportunity to go into a lot more detail about herself, her feelings and her plans for action when she is elected President.  Did you have the opportunity to watch this interview? If not, check it out. Pretty cool, she is wearing Chuck Taylor All Stars. -Guess she wasn't concerned about her height.

You know what his answer will consist of. Not the exact wording, but I have my ideas of what the message will be. There will be no real answer.

I changed the wording because I thought I sounded confrontational, but man.  He used the same interview I used to make my point as a counter.  That interview showed she has no substance.

Yes, you did. In fact, you referred to both the debate and the interview. Your post also mentions Harris' comments about growing up middle-class and people being proud of their lawns. Furthermore, you wrote that her side ignores all her faults, gaffes, flip flops, and lies. One might conclude that you think VP Harris’ comments on how she was raised were somehow a fault, flip-flop, gaffe, or a lie. I do not see anything wrong with what she said during the interview or when she mentioned growing up middle-class in the debate. I posted the video of the interview so folks on Getbig could hear her remarks in context.

Speaking of comments, have you read or heard what Trump posted today on Truth Social? He wrote, "I hate Taylor Swift." This may be one of the most truthful things he has ever said. I give him credit for his honesty. However, I do not see it as a wise campaign move. IMO, he would have better served himself if avoided saying anything about Taylor Swift either positive or negative.

Yes, there's nothing wrong with saying you grew up middle class with nice lawns.....except if you're running for President and the question was "WHAT WOULD YOU DO SPECIFICALLY TO HELP THE ECONOMY".

Geez man.

Many people have commented about not knowing who she is as a person. Unlike Trump, VP Harris is, or was not a celebrity whose entire life is publicized.

During that interview, she answered the questions he asked.

Geeze man.

You're in another world.

She was asked "what specifically would you do to help the economy" and she absolutely did not answer it.

The Taylor Swift comment was more Trump dumb-assery

What world would that be? I believe we were discussing what VP Harris said not what she did not say.

VP Harris did answer the question in the interview with Brian Taff. I believe this was at about 3:12 into it.

In the event you missed it and are interested in what VP Harris is saying she and her administration would do to help the economy, here is a previous video of her talking about this.

"Aug 16, 2024  #kamalaharris #news #economy
Vice President Kamala Harris rolled out her plan to address specific economic policies Friday while campaigning in Raleigh, North Carolina. Her proposals include subsidizing low-wage workers and families with children. Harris also proposed some benefits for first-time homebuyers."

Trump is a liar, sad that you and others choose to ignore it.

FYI, I have said and posted many times that politicians tell folks what they want to hear. Sometimes people don't want to hear the truth because the truth can be hard for them to hear.
