Kamala won the debate, whether it changes a vote remains to be seen but it didn't hurt the democrats. The VP debate... a draw. Didn't hurt either party. Wish Vance had the ball to address the 2020 election but it's almost the norm that it's expected Trumpsters won't answer that. Cost him points as he clearly painted himself a Trump lap dog, but for the Republicans, that is not a bad thing
Vance set the tone, made sure he addressed every question the moderator had, was polite, well spoken, well versed on the subjects, smart, fact checked the moderators and was correct, and mostly......came off like someone who could run the country.
Walz was nervous, jittery, had a horrible gaffe with the school shooters thing, and a horrible answer with why he lied about his china visit. He got better as it went along (I think Vance's friendliness helped him). He gave some good answers, however he did not come off as someone you want in the situation room when the shit goes down. He was more like your nice uncle.
Vance's non answer about Jan 6th convinced folks that Walz won, but the polls after showed they were wrong. Even lib sites had it at 65-35 Vance.
If someone can articulate why they think Walz was so much better, have at it.
