Because the media has cultivated a hatred of trump. From about 2015 onward. Everything and anything that could be blamed on him was blamed on him. Even relatively positive acts by trump have been turned around by the media and reported as something vile*
* ill never forget a story where he honored 5 soldiers who were all KIA. He presented some kind of award to their family members. 4 of the soldiers were white 1 was black. In his speech to them he talks about their bravery by saying "they knew the risks they were taking but wanted to defend their country". Multiple outlets reported that Trump callously dismissed their deaths by shrugging and telling the family members "eh, they KNEW the risks." So, we're to believe that this whole ceremony was simply to denigrate the family members of soldiers? Unbelievably enough, people ran with it! Some news outlets only focused on the family of the black soldier and framed it as a racially motivated spectacle.
All the facts are there special invite, white house, award, ceremony media and yet the media says 'Trump insults family of black soldier.' And people bought it!
This is why when people say he's racist or homophobic or whatever and you ask them WHY they think that, they can't answer. They only have the notion/the feeling of hating him but they cant say why.
Gays think he hates gay people, they were so spun up in 2016 that he was going to ban gay marriage. He said it wasn't even an issue to be considered. The gays insisted he wanted to ban gay marriage. His term comes and goes. He doesn't do anything against gay marriage but they still hate him.
He's constantly portrayed as racist. Who knows why? Everyone knows he's not racist. It's funny Kanye basically set the stage for getting canceled when he said he supported trump. Cultural icons like Floyd Mayweather and Mike Tyson support him, say he's a hood man and not racist and media ignorez it and just keep calling him a racist and people repeat it.
