I have to be honest I’m 56 years old and like have one foot in the old Hollywood generation as a kid compared to now I never watched one movie with John Wayne and any way in its entirety. Never consider him anything that I want to watch. Clint Eastwood yes, early movies, dirty Harry stuff Paul Newman him I like to thought iwas a great actor, even George Kennedy lol but John Wayne never . I guess when I was a kid in the 70s all those actors that I mentioned were on their way out or old and just doing mop up roles , same I discover like Charlton Heston in the movies like earthquake and all those 70s sci-fi dramas he did so to me. Those were the movies I liked and thought oh wow they’re good actors so the stuff in the 40s and 50s is when they acted in their prime, I usually don’t watch those kind of movies

I too know a guy like that, a heavy chain smoker.
To make matters worse he had a Goatee beard which was grey but because of the heavy smoking it looked like shit round his mouth.
