Rick Wayne has announced the death of George Snyder today. George was a well-known bodybuilding promoter in the 70s and 80s, and promoted the first Ms.Olympia contest in 1980. He also later brought a number of preeminent bodybuilders to his gym in Pennsylvania to give seminars, such as Arnold Schwarzenegger, Mike Mentzer, and others. He and Wayne wrote about these seminars in a series of books called "Three more Reps," that detailed the training and nutrition methods used by these champion bodybuilders. George published two magazines, and I wrote for both of them. May he rest in peace.
