I do not know about the US Army but Infantry did visit our Gunnery wing to train under supervision from our Gunnery staff, i remember as i was on a course in the Gunnery wing & met some Royal Scots ( Scottish Infantry Regiment, British army) Mortar guys, NCOīs Qualifying under Royal Artillery staff.
