What is odd is that Bumstead is said to weigh 230lbs. in contest shap.  Contrast that with Arnold at 225lbs. for the '75 Olympia.

Smart move on his part, next year they wouldn't have been able to gift the title to him again. His lower body and left biceps are pretty much gone, and structurally and conditioning-wise he can't hang anymore with the next-gen either. The only pose he still dominates is the side-chest. Now he retires as the undefeated (not invincible though) champ, without ruining his brand completely.

Not at the '75 Olympia he wasn't.  He was reported to weigh in a 225lbs.  He looked nothing like he did in '74.
