Here's my 2 cents.
This is all theoretical of course. If Chris wins this show. That says more about the direction they want to go with bodybuilding than it does for the bodybuilders that lose to him.
If we we're having this conversation 10 years ago, most of us would say he place near the bottom. Phil and Kai we're it then. Big arms were still important and because of Phil, "3D" was a thing.
We've been conditioned with his physique. He's absolutely 5 for the sport. But he has holes in his physique especially for the open. I'm definitely interested in seeing a no weight cap CBum. That's not going to change his arms too much, or his mangled right quad not far from his hip.
Anyway, overall a unique physique if he wins this show, or any other show, bodybuilders should see that him, Samson, and Keone says shape is important again with mass but not not useless globs of muscle. It shows posing is important as well. We're trending in a good direction as far as look wise. If Bumstead wins this show, he should do the O as a final retirement and watch his numbers sky rocket to another dimension with the prep for 2025 Mr. O. I'll give my opinion on how I think he can do after I see his physique in 3 weeks.
