Yeah the quiet guy actually wants to fight that’s why he keeps it quiet. The loud guy screaming like crazy is really just trying to get attention and either scare the other person out of fighting or just hoping group mentality kicks in and people break it up or security comes over and breaks it up.

Size, strength and aggression is dramatically more advantageous in the former scenario.

Actually this isn't important as most people use knives, machete or even swords.
At least here in Germany.
You can use only a telescopic baton in these situations.
The big fat guy that Joe posted was certainly aggressive but not skilled swinging punches which did work in that particular situation.
It won't always happen.
