It was more of a joke than anything else, though I did find Ray's accusation of me being sanctimonious as a near category Bwanksesque level one hurricane of bullshittery, along with the drive by threat of me shutting my trap or risk having "my feelings hurt."

I have almost always liked Raymondo's posts. I don't care if someone doesn't believe in God or not. I myself was a weak agnostic for a long time. Even now, the evangelical types probably want nothing to do with me, a Christian who believes in all manner of things that differ from scripture (e.g., the ridiculous tale of Earth's creation and age, to say nothing of the Arc, parting of the sea, etc.).
In my original post, all I said was that Wankins is emotionally crippled, still very much in that child/teenage mindset of defining his self-worth by how other people regard him; and that, like it is written in the good book, whether you believe in God or not, the bit about growing up and setting aside child like things aligns with, oh, gee:
Realizing you're not the biggest;

...not the toughest, fastest, smartest or are in ANY way are special.
