Bruce lee took the choreography for his fights scenes very carefully. He took care in illustrating the benefits of one style or technique over another.
His scene with Chuck Norris, he is losing the fight by fighting a rigid, pure wing chun kung fu style. He turns the fight around by being more fluid, using boxing techniques, better footwork.
Also his fights in Enter The Dragon. His fight with Bob Wall was perfect but the best part was his prolonged battle with the guards when he demonstrates a variety of weapons.
I thought the fight scene between Hector and Achilles in Troy was done exceptionally well. When one fighter is just a little bit better it has a cumulative effect. The longer the fight goes, the greater the difference becomes.
And while I was looking up the fight scene from Troy, I came across this gem from 1956. Very well done for the time. Never saw it before. I thought it was an AI retelling of Troy at first.
