99 times out 100, if someone posts something and people talk about straps, hitching or any other lame nitpick, it's because either they can't do it or they can only just and they're looking for a way to discredit it. It's a beta male reaction. If watching a lift makes you want to discredit something, take it to the gym and use it as motivation to get better.
I remember being at a university gym with a friend of mine who did a dip with 30kg weighted and at the time, that seemed godly, so I felt the need to tell him that the only reason he did that is because he was like 5ft 4 and light. I knew it was a bitch move when I did it and I still feel like an ass to this day. Weak.
The only illegit thing about that 425 was the knee caving, asymmetry and then horrendous vocal performance after.
I mean, I don't know about the rest of you, but listening to him go on about his lift as if he'd scaled everest, and knowing I'm quite a bit stronger without steroids.. I just felt better about myself :-)
