Pain is good....it means it is repairing itself. As you say, you already have atrophy because that nutcase insisted on you not rehabbing it at the 4 week mark. Keep the blood flowing into it and start with some push ups. If your not already on test, get on it and start training.

I agree with the sentiment, but not at ages 5-7.

I started as a dad coach, and when I was done I was talking to college scouts about kids, so I've been through it all.

At those low ages, it's fine if they're there, and if they offer to help as well.

Once the kids get a bit older though, they do certainly need to fuck the fuck off and stay away.  It actually helps the kids develop.
