Somebody bought up Foreman.  Foreman was in his 40's when he came back. Almost all of his fights prior to his comeback  he rarely was hit badly. Yes, Ron Lyle and Ali rocked him.  Look at Tyson's last real fight.  He was a shell of himself. Now it's 20 plus years later after no training, brain scrabbled and doing drugs. For this fight he did just about zero road work or sparring.  Did you see the last press conference with him?  He seemed like he had dementia. His 15 second edited clips of him working out is complete bullshit especially hitting the pads.

Jake is a good journey man fighter.  No, he couldn't hang with the top five active fighters in his weight class but he could beat a lot of low level active pros of today.  If they didn't agree to soft sparring session Tyson is going to be beaten bad.  Sad that his legacy will be diminished by Jake in the eyes of the clueless.

This the opinion of someone that has fought five times in the ring. I got out early when I  realized that blocking punches with my face wasn't a winning strategy.  ;D   Glad I got out early and outside of a slightly crooked nose I'm still pretty.  ;D

Thing is, Foreman and Tyson are freaks of nature. And Tyson hasn't been sitting on his laurels. He has been training. His natural ability, and knock out power just doesn't disappear. But I have said that if it goes beyond 3 it slants heavily in the other guys favor. The key is, surviving 2 rounds with Mike Tyson. Very few have managed it with better skills.

I truly hope Mike turns this POS into a vegetable, but it's a fight that should never have been sanctioned.

A win for Paul is completely meaningless, given that he's juiced to the gills, active, and half Mike's age. Can Mike pull it off? Sure, he still has power and that natural instinct, but Father Time always wins. He doesn't look good. I just wish it wasn't happening.

Granted, I think everyone is juiced, and he does look like absolute shit, but he's a morally bankrupt, cowardly fucking scumbag who will do anything to pad out his bullshit record. He's naturally a skinny dweeb, and if you're doing boxing training properly, you do not gain a lot of weight. You can eat all the food in the world and you are not moving through weight classes easily without drugs. Looking at him, he's on a healthy dose of testosterone at minimum.

He does look better than I’ve seen him look so yeah prob juiced up. Fuck him. Just makes no sense this fight at all. Tyson has everything to lose and Paul nothing. Tyson loses he lost to a YouTuber dweeb he wins he beat a YouTuber dweeb. Paul wins he beat a badass Tyson he loses he lost to a bad ass. Seems just dumb to me for Tyson to do this. I still think Tyson will destroy him but you guys are making me second guess him. I can’t imagine Tyson taking a dive to this dweeb so I have to imagine real and I can’t watch it cause it will kill me if Tyson loses.

Agreed. No way will I tune in. It pains me that Mike is fighting him, and I'll never recover if he loses to this fucking gimp.

Also, with regards to juice in boxing, remember this fat shit got busted on everything including EPO:

There's barely a top boxer going who hasn't been busted for PEDs at some point; it's as corrupt as professional cycling. Even British domestic-level pros were getting busted for being on massive drug stacks, and they all looked like untrained lifters.

Yep. I spent a month bulking up for a weight-class above me. Waking up and drinking shakes - all that crap. In the end, I gained 4lbs.

Yeah, same for me. I won championships in two weight classes and some of my happiest memories were just boxing full-time on the team and living like a monk. I was hyper-driven and obsessed back then. I did all the 4.a.m. runs and starvation diets and got slagged by everyone for thinking I was in a Rocky movie, haha. Talking about Jake Paul has riled me up. I need to hit the treadmill.

I loved it boxed at welter

there is fit and boxing fit

My mother of 75 found some of my boxing training journals from when I was 16. interesting reading. effectively up at 5 to run 5 miles. then two paper rounds which I wore a weighted back pack for. then school. after school I would lift 4 to 5 then box 6 -8. before bed it was 45 mins calisthenics and 12x 3 minutes skipping.

crazy about of work.

when idiots who have never boxed talk boxing like hankins saying 'I am 220 I would kill anyone' its laughable. if he trained for boxing properly he would fight at no more than 160. and at 220 would just be target practice for anyone else,

Probably what will happen is these two guys will waltz around in each round throwing half-assed punches.

They will clinch and be separated.

The fight will go the distance and be declared a draw.

Exactly. Take the fittest guy in the world and he's still going to gas out rapidly when sparring and fighting until he's learned to control himself mentally in that situation. It's a different game. I've said before, Hankins without ever using roids would be my build. I doubt he'd even make 160.

its his arrogance that would kill him in the ring. he simply has no idea how hard some people hit. off he did he'd shut his mouth. thats how you know hes never fought. his mma record tells it all

It's really difficult to say when it comes to top-level boxing, as it does seem as though everyone is using something. However, I don't see any reason to suspect Usyk. He's not only rare in terms of skill, but rare in terms of character. I take him to be a man of honour, who comports himself with class and integrity.

Yeah, it sucks, but it is the nature of high-stakes sports, unfortunately. I like to think there's a few who kept it old-school and relied on drive and talent. Joe Calzaghe, perhaps. Usyk. Even Floyd (painkillers for his hands aside). We will never really know.
