Met him before, nice guy

Insane build

Didn’t train super heavy

I mean the foundation was built with heavy weights

I dont believe that actually exists

What was his training like?

Harold basically ran the show when we trained and it was 10-12 sets pyramiding up to 12-8 reps.  Nothing crazy.

A lot of drop sets

Trained with him once a friend of mine was good friends with him when I met him.

What I Remember was

One armSide laterals with 15-20 lbs he was doing

Would be like keep one arm raised at 60 percent lateral position with the dumbbell and do laterals with the other then switch

Yeah and tended to favor machines at times.  He truly had no idea of what workout he was doing before he got to the gym.  He just went in and did whatever with whatever was free at the time.  Someone on the machine he wanted to use?  Go do something else.

I have seen old ads where it was claimed that it was so "powerful" they couldn't mix it in the same containers, hence two.

It (Met-Rx) was voted the second best promotional advertising campaign in bodybuilding.  Cybergenics was the first.

I believe that Met-Rx was the first company to start putting out the individual dose packets as well.

Formulated by some surgeon doctor. There was even a pic, like a polaroid dipped in mud, couldn't see shit.

Years later TC Luoma said the only new and worthwhile thing about it was that it contained micellar casein. Much later Connelly sold some very expensive "protein fractions," no idea if they had any merit.

I train like that. My wife trains with me and it makes her insane. She is so organized she schedules time to piss/shit. But she knows not to give me any lip cause on Mars that mouthy “woman” shit don’t fit.

Lee Labrada was one of the first to promote it, and said he had one of his best contest seasons due to it. He was up a few pounds and quality more muscle was claimed lol. It’s funny now Labrada has his own company and claims his formulas are the best ever made go figure.

It's possible some of the athletes took the supp very seriously. Milos said he did one prep eating Met-Rx almost exclusively. It was so advanced it was better than "food."

Drug companies do make RTDs designed to supply everything essential for medical use, could probably do a decent prep using those exclusively - for a time.

I didn't watch the original video but one dude says Tony's been on just 10mg test per day for years.

Him or Paul Dillett? I think Dillett’s physique was better overall

I’ve trained with another “taller” bber Quincy taylor over a decade ago, in person he was massive , not the best flowing physique , but he was close to 6’4 and just massive

Art atwood was another , just huge in person, not a pleasing physique at all , arms not impressive but huge upper body and legs

Honestly, for a man his stature and size of his physique, not impressive at all in the cock department
