slipped rib syndrome?

long story short... i really fucked myself up coughing while i was sick.. uncontrollable hacking .. been 2 weeks now and no improvement with the pain.. can barely sit up, cough, sneeze, shit, breath, you name it and it causes mild to stabbing pain depending...i hear a clicking sound when i take a deep breath... pain is located lower, front left edge of rib cage and goes half way around....upper left abdominal sees the most pain.... its like my ribs are stabbing me lol.  any idea?  had an xray at the hospital and nothing is broken... er doctor said it was probable just a strain but idk, its fuckin bad lol... any ideas fellas?

It probably is just a strain of intercostals or some rib cartilage.  Could there be a stress fracture not seen with xray?  Possibly.  Can anything be done?  Nope.  Just gotta let it heal up.

Hopefully you don't get "blood pooling" in your chest.  I know a guy who had surgery and got a tendon put in.  I will send you his info if you want.

lmao, could never figure out y i couldnt do it.. either my gut is too big or my dick is too small!.. it was on a full belly tho.. gonna try again after i get my new rib tendon so i can bench 315 ... but i havent trained for shit the last couple weeks.. gonna give it another week and then see.

I HAD IT EARLY THIS YEAR FEET SLIPPED ON LEG PRESS 5 PLATES A SIDE PINNED ME GUY I TRAIN WITH PULLED IT UP BUT I WAS HURTING FOR A MONTH OR SO IT HEALED JUST FINE,IT HIRT PRETTY BAD FOR A WEEK.
