If it's a fact, it's an irrelevant fact. You are trying to say that people without higher education are smarter than high school graduates. And that if those high school graduates support Trump it's because they're not smart. At least that's the clear implication, which is consistent with the arrogant liberal talking points of the past decade.
How are you defining intelligence? IQ? EI? Common sense? Life experience? The ability to manage finances? Pretty loaded question.
it's not irrelevant. intelligence is pretty clearly defined, life experience would be more wisdom then intelligence, ability to manage finances? wtf..
People with high school who do not have the grades to get into college are less smart, this is correct. they can not handle high amounts of complex data, spot patterns and have poorer memories.
If you think that higher education doesn't equate to being more intelligent
I am talking about general cognitive ability- a measurable trait across many domains- have you ever undergone psychometric testing? they are validated and reliable tests that look at a persons ability across all the domains- verbal reasoning, spatial-visual awareness, emotional intelligence, spoken comprehension, written comprehension, mathematic aptitude etc..
It's not a irrelevant fact, higher education over and over again is highly positively correlated with IQ/G which are well established.
There is nothing arrogant about facts my man, you may not like the facts but they are the facts and they mean something. They would imply that more uneducated folks voted for trump and based on the current literature and common sense- they don't let dummies into nasa for example- that they are less intelligent, doesn't mean they aren't smart they are just not as smart on average.
Higher education can increase cognitive abilities as well, probably something to do with the immense effort university takes with complex material over long stretches of night. Like constant daily study.
What upsets you about this fact?
