So do you have Asperger's Syndrome or not? I'm not judging you if you do and I don't think it's a bad thing. It would just explain a lot of how you communicate on the board.
-- how do I interact?
You are correct about one thing: we are talking about different components that constitute intelligence. Your view is myopic. It is limited to IQ and higher education. Mine is comprehensive. It's includes IQ, education, emotional intelligence, life experience, self-control, the ability to socially interact with a wide variety of people, etc. And yes, one of the ways intelligence manifests itself is the ability to manage one's affairs, including finances. A person with a PhD has shown mastery of one subject, but not necessarily all other components that make up intelligence.
--My view is based on knowledge about what constitutes intelligence. To obtain higher education you require all of these things, do you not understand that. You cannot be stupid and obtain a PHD or MD. The things you are including have almost no impact on intelligence. Like self control, someone can be genius but have addiction issues- it has zero bearing on that- social skills are not related to any metric or test I have seen or reviewed from any professional, there are numerous disorders where this would be impaired, in both highly intelligent and low intelligence- poor theory of mind in ASD, BPD, NPD amongst others.
--You have zero idea how hard an actual PHD is to get if you think managing finances makes one smart and that all a phd is in intelligence in one area, its knoweldge in a specific area and it shows a mastery of time management, self-control (hours upon hours of grueling study of complex material), discipline, complex problem solving, high level memory and retrival, etc thats what higher education correlates with higher intelligence. I am not debating this, its a fact and anything you can lump into your expansive definition is included in a PHD, often at higher levels.
--Einstein had aspergers, do you think because he wasnt found of chit chat that your friend running his business could ever match his intelligence? he never had much money, probably handled it poorly amongst other things, but his intelligence and iq aka his ability to solve more complex problems and think more deeply about things is way higher then most anyone ever.
--IQ and EQ are often inversely related. You might want to read up on what you are talking about because it sounds like an opinion while I am talking about facts and experience.
But I want to focus on this word salad from you: "The man is an example of someone who is not that bright getting ahead. You think that he is intelligent which is hilarious. He is not, he is successful and is so because of factors not related to intelligence, charisma, charm, being a sociopath, starting with 400 million, industriousness etc."
-
This is retarded. Trump graduated from one of the best universities in the country, so he has the higher education you are so focused on.
- oh yes daddy paid him through lolol please stop with that shit. He is a con-man.
https://www.dailykos.com/stories/2017/10/12/1705902/-Former-Wharton-Professor-Donald-Trump-Is-the-Dumbest-Goddam-Student-I-Ever-HadHe did not start with "$400 million." That is a made up number by a biased media outlet. You will not find any actual facts/evidence supporting this "$400 million."
--sorry was it 100million?
Regardless of what he started with, he became of the most successful real estate developers in American history. His brand is everywhere. All over the world. People pay him money just to use his name. He is literally one of the wealthiest persons on the planet.
- He has become one of the wealthiest people on the planet mostly via crypto.
- you cant say regardless of what he started with, what was his father again?
- he is good at marketing
He became POTUS, twice, with zero political experience and with incredibly forces fighting him, including the media, academia, Hollywood, Congress, the courts, etc. They tried to put him in jail for life, tried to bankrupt him, tried to destroy his family, accused him of being a Russian spy, etc. And despite all of that he has been remarkably successful. The man is several moves ahead of his opponents. Constantly. Anyone not suffering from TDS can see how successful and intelligent the man is.
-- omfg lololol ya trump is playing 4d chess. He is successful, mainly by being a fucking con-man grifter- a fucking fact. He has used crypto to rug pull people, shorts people constantly, has bankrupted casinos and has a slew of unsuccessful business ventures.
--Again this is not related to intelligence. Just say you haven't met an intelligent person bud, its ok. Most with any high degree of intelligence don't chase money but virture and live an intellectual life. Trump probably hasn't read a book. He may be industrious, charming, high energy, relentless and a slew of other things but he is not intelligent. If you were to ask him to elaborate on anything, he simply cannot.
And you can cling to that talking point about whether intelligent people support liberals, less intelligent people support Trump, etc., but it just shows how simple minded you are. For example, no truly intelligent person (not suffering from TDS) believes men and women are on equal footing when it comes to sports and athletics. It's science. Or that a little boy should have his penis amputated. Or a little girl should have her breasts amputated. Or that a child should be given puberty blockers.
-- I know plenty of liberals who do not support any of that, you are talking far left nutbags. not sure what your point was here. I am a centrist, probably slight right center.
But you keep believing you are the smartest person in the room. You're not.
-- you keep bringing up my intelligence, thank you. I did skip a grade and graduated 2 years earlier for first undergrad. I know what my IQ is and and based on that fact what part of the population I fall into. However, thats speaks only to my ability to reason, store information, recognize patterns etc it says nothing about social skill, emotional intelligence, pragmatism, work ethic, diligence, character, mood regulation etc et.
I am autodidactic as well so those things would be very important.
