She's the multiple Olympia champ Andrea Shaw, and happens to be very charismatic and sweet lady so I don't mean to make thread to disrespect, or trash her by any means.

Just a valid question, is she wearing a wig?

I ask because at one Halloween party wore a wig, well  "I tried" but by the time I got to the party I just couldn't take how uncomfortable, hot and sweaty It felt so I took it off and only put it back on for pics ....... So, I to find it hard to believe that someone can wear a wig so thick and dense at all times 24/7 ...

Chocolate women do not have straight hair. If one has straight natural hair, it’s because she spends HUNDREDS every week or two for chemical treatments.

I have 2 daughters.. one is mostly straight with waves and longer curls. She gets a lot of compliments about her hair from black and white women alike.

Daughter no. 2 has a grade of hair much closer to her mothers hair, though still fairly straight,  she has much tighter curls. In the hood black people refer to it as  "good hair" though she can hold an afro.

My son has the straightest hair of my children. Still very wavy, not what you would call curly.

Alot of black women only wash their hair once a week because getting it wet then drying it out causes it to seize up and become difficult to comb and dries it out. Fortunately both of my daughters can and do wash their hair every day.

Good for them. I have biracial nieces who struggle with their hair and how to handle it, I think having a white mother doesn’t help them because she hasn’t had to deal with the hair issue for herself.
