Nothing about Syria?

Domino effect over there. It’s falling fast like Afghanistan after US pulled out. I wonder if Assad gets strung up by his feet at a petrol station?

I watched this video yesterday. Sounds like Turkey betrayed Russia and Iran. They are in BRICS and NATO. Erdogan can't be trusted he sits on the fence always, hedging.

Turkey should be kicked out of BRICS. They are backing NATO who does not give a fuck about Turks.

Erdogan wishes good luck to terrorists in Syria
The Turkish president has expressed hope that the jihadists continue their march to Damascus

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has voiced support for the jihadist insurgency in Syria, urging the Islamists to continue their march to Damascus, various media outlets reported on Friday.

Militant forces in Syria led by the group Hayat Tahrir-al-Sham, formerly known as Jabhat al-Nusra, last week launched a surprise assault from their base in Idlib, targeting the province of Aleppo.

This cancer will spread everywhere..Europe is especially dumb letting these people just walk in.

Hopefully all Syrian asylumseekers will be thrown out of the EU in the next weeks!

(This of course will not happen, as EU countries are very soft on criminals and terrorists from The Middle East and North-Africa. The parasites are allowed to stay forever)

Turkey is filling the power vacuum left by a weakening Hezbollah and Iran, and in turn an already weakened Syria who is getting less attention from Russia who is concentrating on the Ukraine. And none of it matters to the average taxpayer in the USA. We shouldn't be involving ourselves in these overseas affairs. We shouldn't have even invaded Iraq in the first place.

Tartus in Syria was/is the location one of the most important Soviet and Russian naval bases.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tartus

Russian naval base

Tartus hosts a Soviet-era naval supply and maintenance base, under a 1971 agreement with Syria, which is still staffed by Russian naval personnel. Tartus is the last Russian military base outside the former Soviet Union, and its only Mediterranean fueling spot, sparing Russia's warships the trip back to their Black Sea bases through straits in Turkey, a NATO member.

My two cents:

Big loss for Russia and Iran which is good for US obviously.

Gain for Israel MAYBE given the weakening of Iran, Assad, Hezbollah; however, unclear what the new regime brings.

Gain for Lebanon: freed up from Iran, Hezbollah, Syria stranglehold. Better for Maronite Christians and Sunni Muslims in Lebanon and independence from foreign powers.

Unclear to me what this means for Turkey.

Probably a net gain for Egypt and Jordan (Sunni alliance and less Muslim Brotherhood type refugees)
but this all depends on what kind of regime emerges:
Is it more of an ISIS type regime? (bad)
Is it a decently run more reformist regime like the original population segments who opposed Assad? (good)

But VERY HAPPY Assad is gone. He has made Netanyahu look like a saint and there has been nonstop talk about Netanyahu and hardly any mention of Assad lately.

Who knows?
