Talk to the people in Aleppo (his own citizens) if you are talking about Assad. More than 5,000,000 Syrians (many of the radicalized now) have had to flee their nation. The population of Syria is

I don’t have the experience you do. I live in an area of my urban area where there are lots of Palestinians and they feel VERY STRONGLY about Gaza but they are hard workers and mostly pretty well assimilated which we may do better in US than you do in UK.

I was in Egypt not too long ago and they (fellow Arabs to the Syrians) complained A LOT about the radical Syrians they received in last 10 years. I am not close enough to the situation, but I think Arab Spring decent Syrians may have started out decent, and then become Islamic State types during the Civil War (which as you know I blame Assad for).

The problem for the new leadership is there is a huge population of exactly those radical types still in Syria.

a peaceful Muslim will side with a radical Muslim before a non-muslim.

Never forget that.

Oh I have seen my own evidence of that. Not one peaceful Palestinian can be brought to say anything negative about Hamas. Maybe quietly among themselves. But only Israel is what you hear.

I have not had the privelege of meeting a Kurd, nor do I know anything about their hygiene. There are probably Kurdish bodybuilders but none come to the surface.  All I know is that they detested Saddam Hussein (many are Iraqis), detest ISIS, so the US government tends to love them and put them in charge of things. Turkey, of course, hates them.

I miss the days where we didn't have to have diplomas in geopolitics due to Western politicians bringing the World and their problems to our doorstep. YES, the 3-letter agencies in US/UK/EU meddled and did their dirty business; but they didn't let it spill over into betraying their own people by dragging their shit back home after an operation. Now, it's as if they can't wait to cause more havoc abroad so that more of the World's needy need a place to sleep. Very selfish way of looking at it, but it's just so tiresome.

I get that this latest Syria stuff is being paraded around as a Russia/Israel/Turkey angle yet not too long ago, the long arm of the West was playing pissing contests with the area over who cares what

We used to call Kurds MountainTurks back in the 80s :D

The Kurds say they are their own kind of people

I believe they are some spin-off on the Turks, but if they say they´re not the same, i guess they aren´t!

Just like Persians say they aren´t Arabs.

Kinda wild how Sweden, which you'd assume is entrenched in the NWO system, managed to opt out of Covid restrictions and lockdowns. What's your take on it Kwon? I would have assumed their politicians would have been the most zealous in those times.

Part of lockdowns was getting people familiar with a cashless society and they already have pretty much a cashless society and they were not controlled by NATO, they joined NATO in March this year.

Listened today in the news that there is a mass exodus of syrians, back to Syria, now that the tall guy ran away.
Good news.

We became members of Nato this March!

If we were members in 2019 i´m sure we´d have some serious lockdowns

Good news.

Wish there were some good statistics on what proportion of the escapees/refugees during last 11 years are decent Democratic types who rose up against Assad in good conscience versus hard-core ISIS radicalized types. Some Syrian refugees may be a bit of both. And what proportion of each will decide to return. In Egypt, I not long ago heard a fair amount of complaints about the Syrians who came there and tended to vote with the radical Muslim Brotherhood, and those of you getbiggers in UK or Sweden, for example, don’t have too many compliments. You would love to see the less desirables go home. But the nation actually needs the more desirables to go home and help rebuild the nation.

On another note, Israel is up to its same old tricks. But for the world at large, it may be a huge blessing to not have strong military capabilities within Syria given how volatile everything is there. On this one, may be best to just close our eyes somewhat.

I saw a news report on the so called Chlorine bomb attacks on civilians, loads of people there saying they had family killed by the bomb, amazingly no injured survivors
