  • The child is grown, the dream is gone
Had a 1955 american magazine adressing flying cars in the next couple of years. Almost 70 years had passed since that dream.

Piloting an aircraft is a couple of magnitudes greater than driving a car in difficulty....Where are they going to take off and land?....Streets and roads?  Then crashes like the video would be Much more frequent.

again...Where are they going to take off and land?  Streets and roads?...If they take off and land at airports, or large fields, they are indeed small private aircraft.  You are not going to be flying it to your office, or the store.

There will be no, "Shit there is traffic not moving ahead, lets just take off..."

There isn't even a general consensus in America regarding what exactly classifies one as a woman. So, I think we should sit this one out and get our house in order on some basic biological facts before we jump to flying cars.  We're still struggling with not running into each other on solid land and you want to take that away? Lol. J/k

Let's leave it to the pros and at 30,000 feet.

In early 2022, United Airlines' launched the United Aviate Academy flight school in Goodyear, Arizona. It's objective? To bring more women and people of color into their cockpits, in part, to better reflect the customers they serve.

United Airlines is only major U.S. airline to own flight school: United Aviate Academy

United Aviate Academy plans to train 5,000 new pilots by 2030 - at least 50% women or people of color

WHat is the difference between a Flying Car and a VTOL plane?

When does it end being a Flying Car and start becoming a Plane/Chopper?

Classify an Airplane

Classify a Helicopter

Classify a Flying Car

Classify a Woman

You are guilty Brian

I would love to have one. Just watched a James Bond movie where Connery was flying an older version of that.

Legally you can only land at designated heliports, airports...

Edit: There will almost certainly be no flying to work at the Williams Tower or the Galleria for lunch and ice skating...
