Well, Jesus of Nazareth when asked by His disciples to "...show us the Father and that will be enough" told them  "Have I been with you all this time and yet you have not known me, Philip?  Whoever has seen me has seen the Father".  This statement really upset the Pharisees no end.

God has many "names" if you will, none of which remotely begin with "Ja, Jiz, Mo or Fo" to name but 4 examples  colloquial male name prefixes among black baby boys, hebroe or otherwise.

Perhaps for you, that is it.  For myself, having been where I have and experienced multiple deaths, I choose to think that my slowly returning faith is the result of not just a second, third or fourth chance at life but instead the result of a series of events that if there were but one only of them, I could understand it is as being nothing more than happenstance.   

I am not the Nazarene but in my own way, I have had three days, three separate times that I was entombed in the darkness and yet as I heard on that final day on the operating table, "Lazarus, come forth!" and I awoke to my doctor staring down at me and laughing at that which he had witnessed and I had returned from, I cannot help but think, not feeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeel, that I am here to be a thorn in the side of liberals and a witness to what I hope is a chance at someone else's own awakening.

Do you teach physics to a baby?  Nope.  Do you tell a baby how you made them let alone how everything got started?  Again, no.  I do not worry about it.  Neither do I fret when someone does not think or in this case think and believe, as I do. 

There are Atheists and then there are atheists.  There are Christians and then there are christians.
There are mooslimes and they can go back to their litterboxes.  I have no desire to live amongst turds that blow themselves up.

I am trying to live the Faith of the Nazarene again but it is difficult and not just because of those that disagree with the Nazarene but because I care not for turning the other cheek.  Never did.  And so I will sometimes do unto others when they have done unto others, albeit with more flair.

And that's a great deal more civilized than blowing yourself up along with innocent folk you may or may not agree with.

I can't stand religious extremists of any stripe; in fact, I'd quite like to wipe them all of the face of the Earth. That being said, I do think Getbiggers have a very skewed perception of things thanks to state media and propagandistic 'think tanks.'

I'm in Jordan at the moment, and I've been almost everywhere in the region. I have rarely ever encountered one of these freaks that we see constantly posted on here. Some of the deepest and most respectful conversations I've ever had on religion and epistemology have been with Muslims in very conservative countries, and I'm an unapologetic atheist.

Right now, everyone is attending a Christmas fair to raise money for orphaned children. Western Christmas music is blasting, and all the parents are taking their kids to get pictures next to the displays. This is how the vast majority of the populations act in most of these places.
