Tik Tok vs Reels

Alright, nobody gives a fuck about either.  That aside, with renewed talks of the US banning Tik Tok here, my question is do the people posting their content on Reels make comparable money?  I have heard both sides of Tik Tok not paying shit to it paying well (I know views, clicks, likes, whatever is important but all things considered.)

Side note :  I read that Sam Sulek makes over $100K a month on his YT and IG alone.  It didn't mention anything about Reels or TT.  Sound feasible?

This is true.  He is smart enough to know that he will never turn pro so he instead monetized his "journey into bigness".  In the world of "influencers", he found a niche and apparently is making decent coin with it.

I would imagine between his TikTok, IG, YouTube and other platforms I would bet he’s close to that. On TikTok alone he has three channels each over a million and two million followers.

I think I read the payout for YT was like $0.0018 per view.   Is that comparable to Tik Tok?  How does Reels compare?

I’ve honestly never really did the comparisons. But people like Sulek are basically full time content creators. On YouTube he has almost 4 million followers the chest training video he did with Jay Cutler got him almost 900k views. I’m still not sure of the payouts.
