What more interesting is how ineffective their handling of the invasion is.

That number is apparently anywhere between  100-200 k soldiers.
They take medical leave and never return.

But in all honesty i feel for both sides being out in bad conditions ..it´s not fun living out in harsh conditions. can´t just go & get a take away if hungry.

the "Soviets" have changed some tactics since the Cold War simply because they don´t have the Warsaw pact anymore & volume of Armoured Motor rifle Battalions.
still very active with Artillery which they´ve always put a lot of weight behind.

It's supposed to be 10K,  20K, 100K, who the hell knows. And if they are there, fucking half the world is fighting for Ukraine. US personnel on the ground actively shooting missiles deep into Russia. Putin ain't bluffing, the consequences will be intense, rivers of blood. Russia could ens Ukraine in one day with their ballistics, but as they constantly point out, they don't want to. ONLY thing west can do is all out nuclear war, we're all finished. Trump said killing that general in Russia was bad. What's Trump going to do, bully Russia. Only thing he can do is split outta there overnight, get a ceasefire. Russia won.

At this point they are just maneuvering for a better bargaining position. They know the war will end once Trump is in power. I'm convinced Biden is the only reason the war lasted this long. (again, not arguing about the merits of Russians ruling over Ukrainians or if it is a justifiable war)

There's no such thing as an objective diplomat, there's always agendas. What do you think of Jeffrey Sachs, Ray McGovern, Larry Johnson, The Duran fellas, Postol, Metthew Hoh, Chas Freeman and etc etc, the dissidents?

The human toll is disgusting. But what has Ukraine gained? They lost a whole generation of men, what do the most experts studying say about the Ukrainian death toll, way north of 600K with about double never being able to return to the battlefield due to being maimed, and certainly nothing gained. Imagine the cost to grieving families, it's obscene, millions and millions of people. Zelensky says 40K Ukrainians have died, Trump said when the books are opened everyone will be shocked about the numbers. Still he LIED when he said 600K Russians and 400K Ukrainians, and Zelensky was quick to admonish him. This is Trump's "exaggerated honest truth telling" as he called his style.
