The overwhelming majority of interracial crime is Black on white. It's not even a close statistic. Black on white crime is something like 3000% more than white on black crime. Yet.... the upcharge of tacking 'hate crime' onto a charge happens 90% of the time its white on black but something like 20% when its black on white.
Idk the exact numbers but this is a fair illustration of how utterly absurd the notion of racial justice is in our country.
The rise in actual white racism toward blacks is commensurate with the acceptance of open casual racism blacks have toward whites. Race relations were probably at their best sometime in the 90's.
It's bizarre. Some holier than thou smug white liberal woman was trying to tell me that there is no way for a white person to ever understand the pain of being a black person facing racism. I said 'wait a minute, we're talking about feelings, correct. What a person "feels" anger, rage, despair, pain. Are you trying to tell me that black people inherently are capable of experiencing a wider range of emmotions than a white perso? That white people lack the same emmotional depth? My best friend was shot in the back of the head at close range, ambush, execution style, and you're sitting here with that smug look on your face, telling me that I can't relate to a black guy who assumes he didn't get a job because he's black"
I called her a hypocrite because what she's saying in effect is that white people aren't as emotionally developed therefore based on race alone, white people lack in comparison. That's racism.
She looked at me blankly then told me a long winded boring story about her friend in college, who was the only person of color at the entire school, and through her she learned of the day to day racism that black people face. Then she proudly, unironically said "and that's when I became woke." As if she just dropped the mic.
