That is just one reason I wanted to try the exam at first. I have a lot of valid reasons for everything else. But right now, I just want to get in. Sometimes people focus too much on a goal that seems too big, and it can be overwhelming. For me the key to getting somewhere is just baby steps in the right direction. One step at a time. You have any goals for the year?

That isn't one step.  It's basically just another iteration of your shitty attitude, masked with a delay (the time to wait until the application results come in).  A step would be an actual semester, fully passed.  All you're doing at the moment is a bunch of very simple, one off things that don't actually require a commitment of bulk time.

It's a beyond terrible sign that you have to get into law school to want to do law school.

It would be very hard to do something like that without a real need to, though.  School is for people who mostly need school.
