In NJ, after years of having an expired license, Ice T would have to pass a driver test exam and road test to regain his license.  This will take awhile, maybe months, to get his license back.

Also, drivers licenses are not given out directly at the NJ DMV.  They are mailed to the applicant.

Not sure how he would get his car home as he would not have a license after going to the DMV.

Maybe Coco will pick him up.  :D

They give you a temporary license at the DMV until the permanent card is mailed to you.

Ice-T is legally at fault, of course, but the police officer should have shown some discretion and had him park his car and proceed to the DMV on foot.  No need to escalate this when there’s so much real crime going on

The cop definitely was out to get him.  I don't think the cop knew who he was either.

They won't give him a temp license until he retakes the exam and passes the road test.

He would have to do that after so many years have passed.

Maybe he already did that but I doubt it.

I don’t like cops at all. With that said if you have an expired license and reg you need to get a ride to dmv to fix this stuff. Guy thinks he’s special cause he’s rich and black.

Well, fortunately you don't determine what there is a "need" for.

"There's no need to escalate"  lol, if by escalate you mean follow procedure?

Then if the cop lets him off with a warning, you'd be the first to accuse him of doing a favor because of T's  celebrity status. Youd be the first to say "he should get treated the same as everyone else!

Guys plates and license expired 3 years ago and takes on an entitled attitude.

And this thought process of "there's so much real crime going on."  So, cops should overlook citations and misdemeanors because there could be a real crime going on somewhere? Just ignore speeding cars, dui's, petty theft.  Yeah, thats real fucking bright. Heres a clue: cops find real criminals by stopping them for shit just like this.

Timothy McVeigh was captured because he was stopped by an ocop for an expired license plate. I mean wtf? You think people walk around carrying signs that say "Im a real criminal"

Ice T acted like the petty b*tch that he is. He's fucking pathetic and his temper tantrum was a joke. Anybody who watches this video and thinks the cop is the problem is a fucking jackass.

Why is Ice T in NJ? Starting an East Coast vs West Coast gang war?

It happens when you´ve played  a cop for so long

You start to THINK you are a cop and know the Law and expect to be treated as one.

Right, I thought he was going to the DMV to take his driving test and get his license in addition to registering his car?  Whatever, it’s not a big deal

You'd think the cop would recognize him from his movies Friday and Barbershop.

You have him confused brother.

He was in Rocky III and The A Team (the tv show not the movie).
