I know that Ron and I get along great.  I generate a lot of content for his board, and I am a part of a group of steady posters who have contributed to the growth of this place over the last several years.

For anyone who's seen the VIP board- the "Utopia" of BBing boards- that place is downright BORING!  Somebody posts a token topic, everyone gets "seen" and plays nice, and the thread dies.  There are like 10 threads total, and not one chuckle or laugh to be had.  It was like reading homework.  

There's a reason getbig is the best board out there.  It's like recess.  It's fun.  There are groups who run wild, there are groups who stand next to the teacher and throw compliments.  But the far larger group is the one who just enjoys sitting back and watching it all go down.  It's fun

i think that might be the problem with BBing.  Most of the people in positions of power are so concerned with "being friends" with everyone that no one will really step up and give the complacent masses a swift kick in the pants to make some changes happen.

Someone reposted it here, but it was deleted, I think.  Wasn't that big a deal- Bob suggested a $50K prize for audience applause- a fan favorite.  Cutler said "That idea sucks, Bob".  The place got quiet, as no one has ever stood up to Bob.  People started playing nice.  Lee posted it here in the main board.  Bob responded to lee by saying he didn't want that post in the "peanut gallery".   That is what started all the peanut talk.  Bob responded to that by not accuign 99% of GB of being real fans, and he defined real fans as those who attend shows and buy from BBing.com.  He then called me out, saying he could check sales records to see if I shop there, and he could see "a whole lot more".  Many getbiggers freaked out, wondering if Bob had access to sales records.  You know the rest.  BBing.com staff assured us their info was safe.  End story.

I remember the thread, I didn't know that Cutler said anything to Chick though.

I find it funny that no one would stand up to Chick. Why? I'm trying to see why he should garner such respect.

Truth be told Cutler should look at Chick like Chick looks at us. Cutler and Chick are light years apart as far as bodybuilding is concerned.

Also, if ppl thought the results of the Masters were controversial, imagine what would happen if an athlete won $50,000 over another guy in a disputed "Scream-O-Meter", or in fan judging handled by BBing.com

bob i spend alot of my hard earned money at bodybuilding.com...so there are a few of us on this board here that dont just read to bitch and way our e-penises in the air.  BUT i think you're a very controversial person and for advertising purposes,etc. you do a good job....why? you draw alot of attention...and isn't that what a companies ad money is supposed to do? i'm not gonna rant...

and send me a pm i've got something you might wanna see on another site...
